Reveal Me, Sir (Doms of Decadence 9) - Page 60

“As okay as I can be, Sir.”

He kissed her lightly. “Thank you for your honesty.” He sighed. “I wish I didn’t have to punish you now. Not that I won’t enjoy spanking that ass. But I know how uncomfortable you’re going to be sitting while I tie you up.”

“We could just forget about it,” she suggested. “No one has to know. Just a secret between you and me. I’m good at keeping secrets.”

He gave her a stern look. “No, we most certainly can’t just forget about it. What would happen if we all just let the rules slide when we felt like it.”

“We’d have a good time?”

“It would be chaos.”

Damn it.

“And besides, not only would I know, but Joe would too. You don’t think he’ll be checking to make sure I punished you for not filling in the contract properly?”

Oh, hell. She hadn’t even thought about it, to be honest.

“I wouldn’t be much of a Dom if I just let things slide.”

She let out an overly dramatic sigh. “Fine. If you have to punish me I suppose I’ll suffer through.”

She was talking a brave talk. Truth was, she was nervous as hell. Martin had never really punished her for anything. Sure, he’d tied her up and spanked her ass. But she’d liked that. She had a feeling she might not like this. Connor was such a stickler for following the rules, she’d bet anything he took punishments just as seriously.

But what could he do? Tonight was supposed to be about testing the waters. And she had her safewords. All right, she could do this.

He walked away and grabbed one of the chairs from beside the wall. It was like a dining room chair, wooden with a flat, solid bottom.

“Rest the palms of your hands on the seat. Then spread your legs nice and wide. As wide as you can get them without falling over.”

Oh, fuck. She kind of thought he’d put her over his knee to spank her. This somehow, felt a lot worse. Not only would she have to hold herself in position but anyone walking past would get a good view of her huge ass.

Fuck.

Well, she was no coward. Yeah, she had a f

ew hang-ups, but no one could ever accuse her of being that. She moved into position, resting her hands on the seat of the chair, her legs spread out. Connor placed his hand on the small of her back and she jumped. He rubbed his hand up and down.

“Easy, baby,” he soothed. “Remember, you have your safewords if it gets too much. However, this is a punishment. And it’s a serious one. You should never omit things from your contract or lie to your Dom about things that could affect any scenes you do together. Most Doms tend to be overprotective. The idea of hurting you, emotionally or physically, of hitting a trigger unintentionally would make me feel like absolute shit. I’ve been with subs who have held things back because they’ve been embarrassed or they didn’t think it mattered and that stuff always comes out. And then the Dom ends up feeling like he failed or he’s filled with guilt over causing the sub any pain or harm. So a contract isn’t there just for your protection. We have feelings too, you know. Most of the time we don’t admit it, but we do.”

Oh, fuck. Now she felt like the biggest heel in the world. The idea of him feeling guilty because she omitted something . . . crap. She couldn’t tell him everything, but there was something he needed to know. Much as she didn’t want to tell him.

“I have something to tell you, Sir.”

And she really didn’t want to do it in this position.

“Yes?” he asked cautiously.

“May I stand, Sir?”

“Yes.”

She stood and swayed a little as the blood rushed from her head. He immediately held her around the waist.

“Can’t leave you too long in that position,” he muttered to himself.

“I’m all right, Sir.” She brushed that off. She needed to get this out. Quickly. “I’m deaf, Sir.”

He stared at her in shock for a moment. “Sorry?”
