Fireball (Cheap Thrills 1) - Page 30

“I saw an interview with the band recently where they discussed making it,” Tabby said quietly, both arms lifting so that her hands were around the back of my neck. The position brought us even closer, and I could feel her hard nipples stabbing my chest through her bikini.

This was not a bad position to be in at all.

I’d seen the documentary too, and it blew my mind that such a cool video had come about in that way. Apparently Axel Rose hadn’t enjoyed swimming with the dolphins, so he’d jumped out of the water pretty damn quick leaving his shoe sinking to the floor of the tank which ended up being the final shot in the movie. The little things you know, but Mom would have loved knowing that about it.

“Anyway, after she died of an aneurysm, it was kind of all I had left of her, so I’d listen to the song on repeat and even learned to play it on the guitar. It just made me feel closer to her. When I got old enough, I picked the verse that applied to her the most, and got it put on my side so I’d always have her with me – like your peacock tattoo.” I nodded at her arm, refusing to move my hands off her body where they were softly skimming up and down her sides.

She was quiet as she craned her head so that she was looking at the tattoo which was under the water. With only the lights from her porch, I doubted she could make out the words, but it gave me a moment to take in the slim long line of her neck, which led down to her tits – two perfect handful sized globes. Seeing faint tan lines, I gave in and leaned down to kiss one softly.

“I remember the verse,” she whispered, and I realized her silence had been her running through the lyrics in her head. “He changes the rhythm of the song and how he sings during it, and it’s about being alone and losing everything.” Her head lifted so she could make eye contact with me. “I hate that you had to go through that, but I love that you have something that’s only hers.”

Those words did it. All of them said in such a heartfelt way from someone who understood what it was to need something like that to help you deal with the loss of someone you loved. I swear that one sentence was going to change me for life.

I held her eyes a beat longer, my hand moving up to gently grab a fistful of hair, before I slowly leaned it and took her mouth. I don’t know if I expected her to hit me, scream at me, or what, but instead she melted into me and parted her lips to allow me access. Those words had touched me in a way I didn’t even know words could, and I poured all of that into the kiss to let her know that.

It quickly got out of hand with me using my grip on her hair to angle her head more to the side, allowing me deeper access to her mouth and also making her tilt her pelvis more toward me so I could grind into her. Leaving her mouth, I kissed and nipped down her neck until I got to where the water began on her chest, cutting me off from where I was headed. Before she could say anything, I lifted her with my left hand until her tits were in my face, while at the same time using my right hand to pull the top of her bikini down, and sucked her nipple between my lips. I could feel her shaking slightly as I sucked harder, flicking the hard point with the tip of my tongue.

“Holy shit,” she gasped, her arms tightening around my head and neck.

I was moving my hand to undo the knot of her top when a cat screeching shattered the peace around us, and burst the little bubble that we’d been in. I felt the change in her instantly, and released the nipple I’d been playing with, giving it a small peck goodbye, and covered it back up again.

“What just happened,” she croaked, looking around us like she expected there to be a crowd of people. To be honest, there may well have been an entire riot going on and I wouldn’t have noticed it.

I took a second to make sure she wasn’t scared or regretting what we’d done, but seeing that she was aroused, I made my decision and went with it. If she’d been the former, I would have known I needed to play it more carefully and slowly.

“It’s what was meant to happen between us, baby,” I murmured, trying to relax her by rubbing her back. “I didn’t come over here intending to do that, I just wanted to talk to you, but I don’t regret it one bit.”
