“You guys need to keep quiet about it.”
Anna gives me a look but just nods. “Of course. Lips sealed. And I’ll make sure this one over here doesn’t say anything,” she says, gesturing toward Sera.
“Would you fuck him again?” Sera asks.
“Sera!” Faye and Anna both shout.
She shrugs. “What? It’s just curiosity.”
I don’t answer and just shake my head. “I think we need more shots.”
Luckily when I come back with the shots, the conversation of Carson is dropped, and Anna is talking about a new song she is writing for some big country star.
My phone vibrates on the table and I wait until I go to the bathroom to look at it. I have no doubt it’s Carson and although I like Sera, I would not put it past her to grab my phone out of my hand to read the texts.
I lean against a wall waiting for an open stall and pull out my phone.
Carson: Miss Prescott I require your presence in my bed. I have a case that needs to be reworked and I need to go deep.
Knowing he is out with his brothers, I am hoping he is tipsy because I want to see the man Anna talked about. I know it’s not something I should want to see but I can’t help myself. I crave this man more than I should.
Grace: Sounds like it may take a while.
Carson: All night.
I bite my lip, knowing I should stay away from him as much as possible because this can’t lead to anything more than what it is. But what’s a little fun tonight? Like he said earlier, I am going to want him when I am drunk and horny. And I do. I’ve wanted him all night.
