The Woodland Packs - Page 105

“Oh, shit… my car. My clothes… How do I get to them?”

“Eat this, and Grayson will probably take you to your car this morning, if you want.” Claire shoved a plate of toast and fruit at me

“Okay.”

What else could I do?

I shuddered at the idea of going back to the scene of the accident.

“Actually, it might be better for me just to stay here. Do they have any shops for women’s clothes?”

“They do, but they’re pretty plain. Jeans, sweaters.”

“Works for me.”

I was most at home in a tank and jeans anyway. No bra if I could help it. My breasts were small enough to get away with that most of the time.

I ate the food in front of me and finished the glass of water Claire gave me.

There was a single knock on the door, then the front door opened and Grayson walked in. His huge presence and smile made me jump to my feet, my heart pounded against my ribs.

What was it about him that I was so attracted to?

I couldn’t put it down to just one thing.

He was gorgeous, sure. The symmetry of his features, the strength of his jaw and the fact that his body could grace the cover of any sports magazine in the country certainly helped.

But I’d never felt anything like this before.

Not for any man, and definitely not Trevor.

Grayson made me want to walk over to him and kneel in front of him.

My mind went far further than my conscious thoughts dared and it made my cheeks flame with heat.

What was this?!

Surely it had something to do with the fact that he saved my life yesterday? Or the fact that I hadn’t had sex in literally… years.

But after Claire’s suggestion of testing the men out on their giving natures in bed, I couldn’t get the thought out of my head.

Because, despite my initial horror at her suggestion, it now made perfect sense.

I just had to work out a way to “seduce” them into it.

Though from the heated look I was getting from Grayson, it may not be a problem.

“Good morning, Nevaeh.”

“Good morning,” I said, pulling the tank down at the front, conscious of how fat this top made me look.

I was naturally quite thin, though Trevor had always pointed out how big my ass was in comparison to my boobs.

Not that I had a choice about that one.

Plastic surgery wasn’t in my scope, not this early in my life.

“Nevaeh needs to buy some clothes that fit her. Would you guys mind taking her to Sharon’s shop?” Claire asked, with the casual calm of someone who was always in charge.
