“But he's crying.”
“I just need one minute.” He spins us around, lifting my naked body to perch on the dressing table.
My makeup brushes and hair products topple over, clattering against the glass top and fall to the floor as my arse takes up most of the space.
Cals’s rough hands grip my thighs. “He’ll be fine for one minute.”
“One minute?” I gulp. “I need more than one minute.”
“I don’t.” He parts my legs, wrapping them around his waist and rubs his length up and down my seam. “Fuck.” He tilts his head back, closing his eyes as he lets out a low growl.
Caleb cries out again, as he does when he’s left alone for more than a minute. The sound pierces my ears as only a mother knows, but I can’t move. I don’t want to move, afraid I won’t get this chance again to feel him inside of me.
“Just let me have you. I need you, Steph. I need to be inside you. It's been too long.” He sucks at my neck, nipping my skin. “Say you want me too, baby.”
I cling to him, digging my nails into his back. “I want you, Cal.”
He looks into my eyes as he feels between my legs, guiding his erection into me. I press my lips together as he pushes in slowly, feeling the pinch, and breathe out through my nostrils. Caleb’s whines in the other room break my concentration, but I need to feel him fully seated; that delicious painful stretch when he fills me with ecstasy.
“Steph, baby. You’re so tight.” He pushes in further with a groan, and his eyes flicker. “Fuck, baby. I'm not hurting you, am I?”
I shake my head and bite hard on my lip. The burn as he stretches me is both pain and pleasure. Though I haven’t been with anyone since him, everything feels different.
Cal digs his fingers into my fleshy behind, forcing me closer to him until he’s fully seated inside me, and lets out another groan. “I won’t take long.” He pulls out slightly before pushing back in, making my eyes water with the burn. “Steph, baby. Let me know if your ribs hurt.”
“I’m okay.” I tense my legs around his waist while holding him tight against me so he doesn’t see the painful pleasure etched on my face. A slight stab in my ribs with each heavy pant.
He grinds into me again and again, panting heavily into my neck as he races to the finish line. “I’m coming. Fuck.” He cries out, drowning out his son’s whimpers.
Resting his forehead against mine, he catches his breath. The burn rages where my opening is tightly gripping his length, but I don't want this closeness to go. I've missed him so much.
Taking my face in his hands, he kisses me again, softly and tenderly this time. With every feathery stroke of his tongue, I sense the love he has for me.
“You’re gonna need another shower.” He smirks as he pulls his head back, then looks between us as he pulls out of me. “You clean up. I’ll get Caleb his breakfast.” He pulls his joggers up and walks off without giving me a second look.
I lift my bottom off the dressing table, leaving an imprint of my arse on the mirrored glass. I collect my robe from the floor and wrap it around me before heading back to the bathroom.
After washing myself for the second time this morning, I walk into the kitchen. Caleb is in his highchair while Cal is doing the aeroplane, trying to get him to eat a fruity jar of baby food that resembles sick. I wouldn’t want to eat that either.
“I made you a coffee.” Cal nods to the pot on the counter.
“Thanks.” I pour myself a drink and run my fingers through the ends of my damp hair.
He makes another aeroplane sound, waving the spoon in front of Caleb’s face, but he spits it back out.
“Just give him a rusk.” I pull the packet of biscuits from the cupboard and place one on his tray.
Cal rolls his eyes, but gives up with the fruity porridge and throws it in the bin.
I lean against the worktop, sipping my coffee.
His hand slides over the curve of my hip. “Are you all right? Tell me if I hurt you.”
I shake my head. “It’s fine. It pinched a little, but I'm fine.”
“Do you need me to kiss it better later?”
I blow into my coffee. “I might take you up on that.”
