Temptation & Trouble (Surrender to Them 2) - Page 15

“So, what are we going to do about the holidays?” Gabe looked around the table. “Kacey, I’d love to have your mom and little sister join us for Thanksgiving.”

Is Gabe actually planning something that far out?

“Maybe.” Kacey sighed and nodded. “I’ve talked with her a couple of times on the phone. I told her things were better now and we’re going to get together soon. I’ll bring it up.”

“If you were already planning something, we don’t want to pull you away from your family.” I raised my eyebrows and tilted my head.

“No, not at all.” Kacey leaned back and shook her head. “My dad always offers, but I’m just not ready for that yet. My mom hasn’t felt much like celebrating since he left, so she doesn’t normally go all out. I haven’t been much help…”

“You’re doing a lot better now.” I reached over and patted her hand. “Honestly, I thought it would be harder for you to outrun those demons.”

“Yeah, there was a time when I wasn’t sure what a day without numbing the pain looked like.” She exhaled sharply. “I guess I needed to move on and find a way to make peace with what happened. It was a lot easier after I finally opened my damn eyes.”

“So it’s settled then.” Gabe looked around the table and smiled. “We’ll plan a big Thanksgiving dinner and invite the family.”

“Sounds good.” I nodded and smiled along with him. “

I might even see if my parents want to come.”

“I know my mother will show up.” Gabe rolled his eyes. “She won’t miss a chance to hit me up for money.”

“Seriously?” I laughed and reached for my coffee. “You bought her a house, got her a nice car, and she doesn’t have to do anything but spend her allowance as it is.”

“She always finds a new toy she wants.” Gabe chuckled. “I think she could actually spend all my money if I let her.”

“I guess we can just put all our families in a room, make some popcorn, and enjoy the show.” Kacey snickered and finished off her last bite of breakfast. “Okay, I’m going to be late for school if I don’t leave now.”

“Have a good day.” Gabe pushed his chair back and stood.

Once Kacey left for school, Gabe and I finished getting ready and headed to work. I was already thinking about Kacey before I pulled into the parking lot. If Gabe was planning for the holidays, he was definitely getting attached. It brought a smile to my face, thinking about the man who seemed to despise love finally falling for someone. I hoped it would happen after college, but I could tell he wasn’t ready. He held onto his bachelor card as long as he could, but it was definitely time for him to retire it. There was a time when I wouldn’t have dreamed of sharing someone I cared about with another man, but it was different with Gabe. I trusted him more than I trusted anyone else in the world. We had someone special and I would do anything in my power to make sure we never lost it.

“I’m home.” I pushed the door open and slammed it. “Kacey, are you here?”

“Yep!” I heard her voice from the downstairs office. “Just working on one of my stupid assignments.”

“Stupid?” I walked into the office and chuckled. “You’re just getting started with college—freshman year is the easy part.”

“Tell that to my Creative Writing professor.” She leaned back in the chair and sighed. “He wants me to write an essay about anything. He didn’t even give me a freaking topic!”

“That’s pretty common.” I sat down across from her. “What kind of ideas have you come up with?”

“Nothing. I’m staring at a blank screen.” She looked over the top of her laptop. “I’m supposed to be learning shit, not making it up on my own.”

“Try to come up with something original. Make it something that the professor probably doesn’t know much about.” I tilted my head and shrugged. “That always worked for me.”

“I’m not sure he wants to hear about the best place to buy a fake ID.” She laughed and shook her head. “What else? Underage drinking? How to become an alcoholic before you’re twenty-one? Oh, I got it—how to carry on a scandalous relationship with two older men.”

“You think it’s scandalous?” I raised an eyebrow and grinned. “I thought we were just having fun.”

“It’s very scandalous.” She stood up and walked around the desk. “Not that I’m complaining.”

“Get over here—I’ll show you how scandalous this can be.” I grabbed the front of her jeans and pulled her close.

“Good, I need a distraction from the screen anyway.” She wrapped her arms around the back of my head and straddled the chair I was sitting in.

I pulled Kacey into my arms and squeezed her tits as she sank down into my lap. Our lips met in an instant and I started to ravage her mouth with my tongue. I never got tired of crushing her pouty lips with mine. My dick started to swell in my pants, ready for action as soon as she was against me. I pulled her shirt off and tossed it to the side as my lips drifted down to her bra. It joined her shirt on the floor and I started to let my tongue swirl around her nipples. Her tits were ravishing and turned me on so much my cock started to throb. I fumbled with the front of her jeans and unbuttoned them, pushing my hand into the denim until I felt her wetness. She moaned against my ear and dug her fingernails into the back of my scalp.

“I don’t care if Gabe isn’t home yet.” She brushed my ear with her lips. “I want to feel you inside me.”
