Lying Hearts (Small Town Lies 1) - Page 47

“I’m sorry about them. You okay?” Easton’s knuckles grazed my jawline, and I sighed in content from his touch.

“I’m fine. It’s just your brothers. I know how they are.” And then a sour feeling took over my stomach when I realized what I had just said. “Easton, I’m sorry for being friends with your brothers without you knowing—”

He silenced me with a kiss, morning breath and all be damned, and I didn’t mind. I kissed him back with the same eagerness he was giving me, and I cupped the back of his head. His tongue woke up my mouth, wishing it a very good morning.

When he pulled away, I followed, wanting more, needing more of him.

“Mmm, does my Moon need lovin’?” he asked, teasing me by flicking my nipple.

“Maybe,” I moaned as his lips found my neck.

“That’s too bad,” he said as he pulled away, leaving me needy.

“That’s so rude,” I pouted as he yanked the sheet off my body. The cold air made me shiver. I looked down and gasped when I saw how swollen my nipples were and how many red bites were on my breasts.

“As much as I want you right now because I do,” he fisted his hard cock to prove it, “Evan said one of us was bleeding. Now, my arm is fine. So it isn’t me. It doesn’t look like fresh blood, but maybe I scratched you too hard or something, or you did me,” his voice lowered when he remembered how I sunk my nails into his skin.

The marks raked down his chest, like claws of a cat. I couldn’t help it. He’d felt so good, and I had waited so long to feel him that having his cock inside me wasn’t enough. I needed to be closer, and I went wild. I wanted to show him how good he made me feel.

“I’m sorry,” I said, reaching for his chest and touching the injured skin. “You already have a broken arm.”

“Don’t ever apologize for this.” He laid my palm against the scratches. “I loved it. I’m not even going to wear a shirt downstairs. I’m going to wear your marks proud, baby.”

“Easton,” I scolded playfully, but the territorial side of me loved the idea of him showing the marks.

“Let me check this beautiful body. The last thing I wanted to do was hurt you,” he said. He squeezed my breasts first, and they were sore from his roughness last night. “These are good,” he grunted, then slid his hands down my waist, then checked each leg. “Flip over,” he ordered between choppy breaths, and I did as he said, showing him my raw ass that he spanked. “God, my control—” Easton’s whimper made me smile into the mattress. I loved how I affected him. “I’m not fucking you while my brothers are here. I’m not fucking you while my brothers are here. I’m not fucking you while my brothers are here.”

I bit back a chuckle as he chanted to himself. His hands gently rubbed down my back and cupped my ass, kneading the globes. I hissed because the skin was still tender from his spanking, which was something I couldn’t believe I liked, but I did, and I wanted it to happen again and again.

“I can’t find where the blood came from,” he said. “You’re flawless.” I loved hearing the admiration in his voice.

“That’s okay. I doubt it’s anything to worry about,” I said as I got out of bed. But as I did, something itched on my inner thigh, and I scratched it. When I looked, I saw dried come, but it was tinted pink. Everything started to click. The blood on the sheets, our combined essence between my thighs, and I had never been so mortified. His brothers saw proof of what happened last night.

“Hey, what’s wrong? Talk to me,” Easton said as he stood up from the bed. “What’s with this face.” His thumb rubbed across my bottom lip, and I relaxed my face.

“The blood,” I said. “It’s mine.”

“Where? Are you hurt? Show me.” He started spinning me around again, and I nearly got dizzy and fell over.

“I’m fine. It’s… you know.” I slid my eyes down and then back to his face, hopefully, he would catch on. “You know,” I repeated, and I waited for it to dawn on him. When it did, his face looked so damn smug I wanted to kiss it.

Or slap it.

No, kiss it for sure.

I shoved his chest. “Easton. Your brothers saw…”

“They don’t have to know,” he laid his arm across my lower back, “that I was your first. But I will never forget as long as I live.” Easton dropped a kiss to my nose and tugged on a curl. “Come on; I’ll take these sheets off and wash them. Let’s go downstairs and see what they want.”

I wanted to stay in bed all day. Damn, Moore’s brothers. “We should have locked the door.” I tossed at him over my shoulder as I shook my ass, walking to the bathroom. “I was hoping for more of what happened last night.”

He pressed the heel of his hand against his erection and leaned against the wall. “Baby, that mouth, you better hush before I shut it up with something. And they have keys; it wouldn’t have mattered if the door was locked.”

I turned on the shower and poked my head out from the doorway. “Then come shut me up because I just have so much talking left to do, Easton.” He almost made it over the bed in one jump, but his foot caught the edge, and he stumbled. The only thing catching him from falling was the wall he hit. He groaned, pressing his hand against the arm that burned. His nostrils flared with pain, and he closed his eyes, to breathe through it.

“Oh god, Easton!” I ran over to him and pushed him back toward the bed until he sat down. “Are you okay? I’m so sorry. What were you thinking, jumping over the bed? Let me see. We need to change the dressing anyway like the doctor said.”

“I don’t want to until I shower.” Each word was said between clenched teeth. “Fuck, that hurt.” He had sweat breaking out all over his body, and his chest rose with every ragged breath. “Can you please get my pain pill, baby? Break it in half for me. I don’t want to be drowsy today.”
