Billionaire's Single Mom - Page 52

Emily giggled, spinning once before bouncing along. “This city is fun and different.”

“We’ll have to come back,” I said without thinking. Why would she ever come back to Tokyo with me? This was a one-time thing. I still had to accept that.

“Yes, we will.”

The words hung in the air, thick with meaning. At least to me. Emily let out another giggle and continued dancing down the street.

Even though I wasn’t trying to do my best Dancing with the Stars-impression down the street like Emily, I’d downed more than a few beers, and a fuzzy cloud hung over my thoughts, making it hard for me to think clearly.

So many questions passed through my head. Would Emily come back to Tokyo with me if I asked? Was this really a fun diversion for her and nothing else?

I shook my head, trying to clear it. I had trouble believing that she didn’t want anything more. Maybe the booze was revealing the truth for both of us.

We didn’t talk much more as we finished our walking and dancing to the hotel. Along the way, I laughed each time she changed her style of dance.

Fun and different. That’s what she’d called Tokyo, but the same could be said for her. The more time I spent with her, the more fun I had. I’d started worrying less about the next business deal and more about what kind of entertaining things we could do together, in and out of bed.

My mother was right. Emily and I shared a lot in common. There was no reason we couldn’t be together. No reason except she didn’t want it.

Her dance turned into a mere skip as she headed toward the elevator. I kept pace beside her, my hands clenched into fists, my neck and shoulders tense. My eyes kept drifting to her cleavage.

I’d tasted those breasts and pleasured them only a couple of days ago. Emily was like a drug, and I was starting to go through withdrawal.

She stopped dancing on the elevator, instead only humming. Even that stopped after the door dinged, and we stepped onto our floor.

She grabbed my hand and led me to her room. She quickly opened the door and pulled me inside.

I raised a brow, curious as to where this was going.

Emily started dancing again, grabbing my hands and trying to lead me in a dance to music only she could hear.

“Thank you for tonight,” she said, as we swayed lightly. “Thank you for this whole trip.”

“You’re welcome. I’m sorry I spent most of it in meetings.”

Emily leaned her head against my chest. “Remember what you said about the sushi restaurant?” She stopped swaying.

I glanced down at her. “What about it?”

“I asked you if you’d done it for charity, but you said it was charity and self-interest together.”

Chuckling, I nodded. “Yes.”

Emily put her arms around my neck. “This trip is the same thing, right?”

I stared into those hazel eyes, wondering what she wanted me to say. I settled on the truth. “Yes. You could describe it that way. You needed time away, especially from Lionel. You’re a wonderful woman, and you deserve good things and to be treated well, and—”

Emily silenced me with a kiss. Her tongue invaded my mouth, and I met it with my own. I pulled her tightly against me, desperate for the feel of her soft breasts against me. She dropped her arms from my neck and reached in between us to rub my hard cock through my pants.

I pulled away from her. She looked up at me, her lips swollen from the kiss, her breathing ragged. Her hand dropped away from my throbbing cock.

“You don’t like it?” Emily said, her eyes wide, almost innocent-looking despite the situation.

“No, I like it too much.”

“Then what’s the problem?” She ran her hand up the length of my hard-on.

I let out a grunt. “I told myself we weren’t going to do this again.”
