Bedside Manner (Love Under Lockdown) - Page 13

“It’s hot,” I remarked, feeling stupid for stating the obvious but wanting an opportunity to lead up to what I’d planned.

“Tends to be, at this time of year.”

My pants were off in no time. I wasn’t sure how Jake would react, hoping the context might soften the blow. I’d put my bikini on under my clothes to help out.

He looked, but didn’t say anything, and nor did he try to touch. My shirt came off next, and I thought he might break the first trend.

Following my lead, Jake stripped down to his boxer shorts and tank top, so we were roughly on even footing clothing-wise. He didn’t say anything, which was likely achieved through great effort, since the bulge outlined in the front of his shorts spoke volumes. I sincerely wished he would let me give him some relief, if only for the experience.

But since he was sitting down in the chair next to me, keeping his eyes to the sky, protected by sunglasses, I knew I would need to get his attention. Getting out the sunscreen, I slathered it on, being as seductive as I was able to be.

Jake managed to maintain his equilibrium all the way through, continuing to read his cookbook, and not saying a word. I couldn’t help but get the feeling that he was trying to ignore me.

An old resentment started to stir again.

Who did he think he was, anyway— God’s gift to women?

Or maybe he was trying to be respectful.

I couldn’t be sure, but posh families, like the type he was clearly from, weren’t known for expressing emotion, even to their own family members.

It was more than possible it had something to do with that. Or maybe he was just trying to be respectful by not openly ogling me, even though that was exactly what I wanted. I just needed a more direct way of letting him know.

“Do my back?” I asked him.

“I—”

Before he could finish, I handed him the bottle of sunscreen and turned over. Suddenly it was like he couldn’t resist the invitation. The alpha male in him took over and he got up confidently from his chair.

As he came over, he opened the cap on the bottle. Then he positioned himself behind me, kneeling on the chair between my legs. He rubbed the lotion on my back, or, I should say, from my hips up to my shoulders. I undid the back of my bikini top to give him full access. His warm, gentle hands drew a hum of pleasure from me.

As he moved forward, getting up closer to my shoulders, I could feel the head of his cock pressing lightly against my ass. I’d never really thought about anal sex. I knew it was something people did, but never really thought it was for me. The jolt I got from that little bit of warm pressure quickly made me reconsider this stance, though.

“Good enough?” he asked, in a tone that was quite sexual.

“More than good. Thanks,” I said.

Letting the lotion dry, I turned back over, neglecting to do up my bikini top first. The warm sun was kissing my bare breasts like a lover. Jake didn’t even try not to stare now, and the fact that he was just turned me on all the more.

Eventually, it wasn’t as hot anymore, so we trudged back into the beautiful house so that we could get dressed for dinner.

Still in a sexy mood, I went for my skimpiest summer dress, despite it being a couple months early. I’d gotten used to feeling the air on my skin, particularly after so long spent covered in PPE, and I was damned if I was going to give it up, let alone for a silly sense of propriety.

I also neglected to wear underwear with it, to help with the new-found airflow.

“Oh,” Jake said, turning from the stove as I came in, his apron protecting his clothes.

It wasn’t quite the greeting I’d been hoping for, but I didn’t want to say anything for fear of embarrassing him.

“You like?”

“Fuck yeah I do.”

Careful to keep my legs crossed, I took my place at the table and started eating the delicious meal he had made for us. If nothing else, it would be worth sticking around here for the food alone.

“Any plans for tonight?” I asked, trying to make conversation.

“Not really, did you have something in mind?”

“Nothing specific. I thought maybe we could watch a movie or something.”

“Sure.”

Once dinner was over, he took me into a room that was like a movie theatre. When most people said they had a ‘screening room,’ they meant a separate room where their media equipment was kept. Jake’s had a large, comfortable couch in front of a wall-sized screen, and it was a considerably sized wall indeed. Behind that, he had reclining chairs that were perched on stadium-like raisers, so that it really did look like a movie theater.
