She pulls back and grabs my face with her hands.
“No Love. You, you are my favorite place, you are my happy place. How can I love you so much already?”
She says with tears flowing down her cheeks. I wipe away her tears and kiss her softly.
“Sweetness, we’re soul mates. You were made for me and I for you. This was always meant to be. I love you more than anything.”
Sniffling, she kisses me lightly and lays her head on my shoulder.
Chapter Twelve
Tiffani
It has been the best three weeks of my life. Cameron and I have spent all our free time together. He went back to work last week, on light duty, because of his arm. He has been doing twelve-hour shifts, but next week he goes back to his twenty-four-hour shift. I don’t know how I am supposed to sleep without him now.
Hell, I must admit he looks sexy as fuck in that uniform though. Every time I see him in it I want to rip his clothes off. I am pulled out of my naughty thoughts when a huge arm wraps around my stomach and pulls me into a hard chest.
“Hey Sweetness, did I tell you how beautiful you look in that dress?” Cameron growls in my ear before kissing my bare shoulder. I melt into his touch.
“Hi Love, I missed you.” I have been up since two makin
g sure that Jules wedding cake was perfect and that they delivered it to Shamrocks on time. We have been at Jules and Matt’s reception for the last two hours. It has been a hell of a long day, and my feet are killing me. I hate wearing heels. I’m more of a sneaker kinda gal so being stuck in five-inch stilettos for the past four hours has totally sucked a big wanker.
“I missed you too, Sweetness. Let’s have one more dance and then we can go home okay? I think that Matt and Jules are about to leave anyway.” Turning around in his arms I stand on my tippy toes and kiss his jaw
“Okay Loverboy.” We moved in with together after a week of us being together. Luckily, mine and Jules friend JoJo was moving into town and didn’t have a place to stay, so, I offered her my place to stay. This way I didn’t have to break my lease.
I give him a quick kiss before pulling back and grabbing his hand. We make our way to the dance floor, and he twirls me around before pulling me back into his arms. Laughing, I put my arms around his shoulders as we dance.
One song turns into two and by the time we are walking off the dance floor I can’t breathe from laughing so hard. One of the things I love most about Cameron is his ability to make me laugh.
We walk outside, and Cameron helps me into the truck. I secretly love this truck, mostly because he gets to pick me up every time we go anywhere together. By the time we get home, it is eleven pm, and all I want is a bath and to snuggle up to my man.
He helps me out of the truck, and I get to feel his hard length push up against my belly before my feet hit the ground
“Go on in Sweetness I’ll grab our stuff and be in right after you okay?” Cameron gives me a kiss and gives my ass a light smack before letting me go. Giggling, I walk up to the house and open the door.
When I walk in, I see white rose petals in the shape of hearts all along the hardwood floor. Along the wall, fake candles are lighting the way to our bedroom. My eyes start to fill, and my lip begins to tremble.
I follow the roses into our bedroom, and they go all the way to the bathroom. When I walk into the bathroom, there are six dozen red roses in vases strategically placed all over the room and in the middle of the floor white roses spell I love you.
Candles are aligning the bathtub that has steaming water with bubbles. Cameron clears his throat, and I quickly turn around gasping when I see him down on one knee holding open a small box.
Inside is a beautiful gold band with little diamonds all around it. “Sweetness, I have loved you from the moment I first saw you and each day that passes by I grow to love you more. You are the woman I want to grow old with and be the mother of my children. I couldn't imagine a better woman to be mine. Will you marry me?”
All I can manage to get out is a squeak before flinging myself at him he catches me with an oomph as we land on the floor. My ring goes flying to the side, and I hear my dress rip as I kiss him all over his face.
“Of course, I'll marry you Loverboy. You're my one and only.”
He kisses me and flips us over until I am on my back and he is in between my legs. Moaning, I wrap them around his waist and pull him closer to me. After a few seconds, he pulls back kissing my lips twice before resting his forehead on mine.
“Our bath is getting cold Sweetness.” He doesn’t make a move to get up, but there are too many clothes between us.
“Okay.” I reluctantly let my legs fall to the side, and he stands up pulling me with him. He walks over to where the ring fell and picks it up.
“Damn Sweetness, good thing it stayed in the box. Your fingers are so small we would’ve lost it.”
He chuckles as he puts it on my ring finger. We quickly get undressed and into the bath. When we are situated, me in between his thighs with my head resting on his chest a thought comes to me.
