And as he chuckles and pulls the car out of the parking lot, I know I have a night to look forward to. While my wonderful, beautiful family sleeps, we might think about adding one more to our brood – because, after all, family has always meant everything to both of us.
And if we don’t manage to make another little sibling for them tonight, well – practicing is always such good fun.
