When he finally pulled his head back and pulled out of me, he looked into my eyes. “I’m sorry I was so rough.”
With a smile, I placed my hand on the side of his face. “You weren’t rough. I loved every second of it. Well, except for the fact that we’re in your mother’s house, and you just fucked the living hell out of me and I had to keep as quiet as possible.”
Grayson laughed as he grabbed some toilet paper and cleaned between my legs. My legs shook as my stomach dropped at the loving gesture.
Once he cleaned himself off, he took my panties out of the back of his jeans and slipped them over my legs. “I can’t even bear the idea of you being with no panties and not being able to touch you.”
Smoothing my dress out, I took a look at myself in the mirror and smiled. I had a just-fucked glow over my skin and I was positive Ashley would know what we had done. Maybe she’ll just think I jumped all over Grayson for acting the way he did.
“I wasn’t prepared for him,” Grayson said as he walked out and sat down on the bed. Following him, I sat down next to him. Taking his hand in mine, I kissed the back of it.
“Is that why we just had our little fuck fest in there? Was that your way of dealing with this?” I asked as I waited for his response.
“No, that was because you had me so damn worked up that I knew I wouldn’t be able to keep my hands off of you another minute.”
I lifted my eyebrows. “Really?”
“Okay, there might have been some small part of me that knew if I fucked you I’d be able to forget about everything that happened a few minutes ago.”
I reached up and ran my finger along his stubble. “It was a nice distraction, but that’s all it was. Grayson, your mother is a beautiful woman who deserves to find her own happiness, just like we have.”
Grayson’s body sank as he dropped his head. “I know. Believe me I know and I want her to. I just didn’t want to walk in on it.”
“They were just kissing.”
Grayson moaned and dropped back onto the bed. There was a light knock on the door and I prayed like hell I looked the same as I did when we first walked in.
The door opened and Ashley walked in. “Grayson?”
Quickly sitting up, Grayson stood and walked over to his mother. “I’m sorry, Mom. I just wasn’t prepared at all for walking in and seeing you sucking face with some strange guy.”
Ashley blushed as she looked over to me and smiled before turning back to Grayson.
“Ever since your father walked out on us, Grayson, I’ve been so afraid to open up my heart to anyone else. When I finally felt like I could let someone in, I didn’t want to get my hopes up. I wasn’t sure how to tell you about James once I knew how strongly I felt about him.”
“How long have you been dating him, Mom?”
Ashley rubbed her lips together in a nervous manner. “About five months.”
Oh. Shit.
“Five months? What the hell, Mom? I don’t even know this guy and walk in and see you all over him. Now you’re telling me this has been going on for five months!” Grayson said as he took a step back.
Ashley’s faced looked pained. I knew it must have been hard for her to keep this from Grayson and I quickly wondered why she would have kept it from him for so long.
“I understand you’re upset I kept this from you, Grayson. First off, I wasn’t all over him when you walked in. We were kissing.”
Grayson rolled his eyes as I took his hand and squeezed it. From his reaction it was safe to say Ashley hadn’t dated much when Grayson was growing up; that could be why she hid James for so long.
“Don’t roll your eyes at me, Grayson. You will go downstairs and be polite to James because I . . . I . . . oh lord this is harder than I thought.”
My heart began to pound against my chest. I knew exactly what Ashley was about to say, I could see it in her eyes. I also knew Grayson was about to freak the hell out.
“What? Oh God don’t tell me you’re having sex with him!”
A look of horror washed over Ashley’s face as I silently moaned. “Gray, maybe you should take a deep breath and count to five before you talk,” I said as I pulled on his hand.
“What I do in my private life is none of your business, Grayson Bennett. I’m a grown woman and am free to kiss and have sex with any man I please to.”
