Falling For You (Love In All Seasons 2) - Page 4

Chapter ThreeRonanEverything about this woman makes me want to take her, now, without any warning.

And the crazy thing is, I know she wants it too. It’s as if her pheromones are sending messages to mine, messages that say she craves what only I can offer.

My cock is awake as I stare at her in the doorway. Her long brown hair is covered in snowflakes, her frame petite and small enough for me to hold up with one hand. I can picture rolling on top of her in my four-poster bed, her narrow body covered by mine, and filling her with my rock-hard length while her body opens to me like a flower in bloom.

When she tells me she doesn’t have a man, I think I’ll fucking come right here and now.

I’m the one for her.

And when she curls her lips, with her eyes blazing, announcing she doesn’t need a man, I know I will both cave to her every whim and at the same time whip this woman into shape.

She thinks she doesn’t need a man, but that’s only because she hasn’t had me.

It takes all my strength to resist throwing her over my shoulder, spanking her tight little ass, and teaching her a lesson about what she really needs. But I don’t want to scare this beautiful creature that just walked through a blizzard to find me.

I won’t hurt her, but I will have her.

“Thank you,” she says as she walks through the front door tentatively. I watch her curvy ass as she moves and I shake my head, knowing what needs to happen soon.

Very soon.

Her legs spread, my mouth on her cunt, her body under mine.

“The power is out,” I tell her.

“That’s okay,” she says softly. I watch her take in the opulent foyer glowing in the candlelight. The massive gilded framed paintings, the chandelier overhead filled with a thousand sparkling gems. It is so extravagant, and hardly a reflection of me. “This place is beautiful. So...”

“Over the top?” I give her a half-smile, wanting to put her at ease.

“Yeah, I guess. Makes my campus apartment seem like a hovel. And this is safer than my car, that’s for sure.” She turns to face me, her smile lightening up the night. She may have had some apprehension, but it’s clear she’s relieved to have a roof over her head tonight “So, do you have somewhere I can put this?” Over her shoulder is a duffel bag. “I grabbed it before I left my car, thinking I might not get back to it for a few days.”

I nod. “I’ll show you to a room. Are you hungry?” I take a candelabra in hand and begin walking up the staircase toward a suite of rooms that will suit her. Our shadows cast on the walls by the flickering candles, depict how just big I am and how small she is.

“Wow. So, you actually are a good host? Just crappy at first impressions?” she asks, following me. “And no, I’m not hungry.”

I clench my jaw. This woman puts it all out there. I like it. She’s not some fake girl who knows I’m loaded and wants in on the cash prize that could come with a marriage.

Sure, this woman can tell I’m rich by this house, but it doesn’t seem to intimidate her.

“You sure you’re okay with me being here? You didn’t even ask me my name,” she continues as we get to the landing.

“Likewise,” I tell her thinly. I don’t mean to sound cold and detached, but the truth is, if I start with her I won’t be able to stop until I have all of her.

“Fair enough,” she says, sighing. “I’m Bella.” She sticks out her hand, offering it to me.

I pause, knowing the moment I touch her everything will change. She smells like rose oil and looks like candlelight. Soothing and warm, there is a faint glow about her that enraptures me.

I must know more about her, all of her.

Which means I need to relax, so I let my shoulders fall and my gaze soften. I don’t want to scare her away.

“I’m Ronan,” I tell her, taking her delicate hand in my calloused one. I spent the last month chopping wood for the manor, even though it wasn’t necessary. How else am I supposed to work through the inner turmoil haunting me?

I pull her hand to my mouth and brush my lips against her soft skin. My cock hardens, the beast within is awake.

It’s like I’ve been in hibernation for a month, and am just now crawling out from my cave, ready to feast on what is before me.

Bella.

“What’s wrong?” she asks, mistaking my desire for something bad.

I clear my throat. “Nothing is wrong. But I don’t want you catching a cold, Bella. You need to get out of those clothes.”
