Out of Bounds - Quick Snap - Page 26

In addition to this, Ms. Wilkes’ ex, Cam LaValle, a once Seattle Sounders hopeful, had also claimed that the affair was ongoing while he was dating Ms. Wilkes. He went the extra mile and included explicit details of their sex lives, including incidences where outside parties were invited into the bedroom and Ms. Wilkes begged him to attend ‘swinger parties’ with her.

As mentioned, we discovered that the article was a result of some old fashioned bunny boiling by the pair.

In fact, both relationships ended months before the relationship between Ms. Wilkes and Mr. Sutherland began, with Mr. LaValle even following Ms. Wilkes all the way from Ohio.

The new couple have become the focus of Seattle, but not because of the salacious article, but because of the adorable photos of them that have been making their way into the press recently. Mr. Sutherland has even been photographed enjoying time with Jason Wilkes, former quarterback for the Miami Dolphins, who’s Ms. Wilkes’ father, and her brother Hayden, who is the center back for the Seattle Sounders.

After printing a retraction from Mr. LaValle, which was also featured in all news publications, the magazine has been inundated with numerous complaints, and the support for the new couple has been a true example of what Seattle is and who the Seattle public are. We support our own and refuse to allow one to come to harm as a result of lies and drama.

A number of sources close to Ms. Tobas also confirmed the breakup with Mr. Sutherland to have happened at least five months before the gala.

Ms. Tobas was unavailable for comment, but a video posted on social media this morning showed her involved in a screaming match at Roche Locks, the hairdresser to the stars, when her blonde highlights ended up orange and she was refused service to fix them. Another birdie has whispered in our ears that Ms. Tobas will also be finding other hairdressers locking their doors to her in a display of solidarity.

Will we be hearing a public apology in the near future? One involving a hat, perhaps?

We’ve also heard that there’s a special date coming.

At the end of the summer, a charity game will be played between the Seahawks and a retired Miami Dolphins team at CenturyLink Field. The game is in memory of a young teen who passed away yesterday, having lost her battle with leukemia, Liberty Echo.

All funds raised from the game will go to research into leukemia and supporting people who’ve been impacted by the disease.

Ms. Wilkes has been working on bands that were designed by Liberty before she passed away. The pretty beaded bands have an orange ribbon charm on them—the ribbon that represents leukemia—and will be available to purchase throughout the city. A local clothing company, Because I Said Sew, will be helping Ms. Wilkes with the supply, so don’t be disappointed if you don’t get one immediately because they’ll be back in stock soon.

Liberty Echo’s funeral will be held at a private location this coming Sunday, but the funeral precession will pass through the city carrying Liberty to her final resting place. We’re asking the people of Seattle to wear orange in solidarity and yell out your love and farewells to this brave and inspirational young lady as they pass.

The cortege will pass Seattle Aquarium, where Liberty was said to be a regular due to her love of the ocean. Further details of its exact route through the center of Seattle will be released this week.

In memory of Liberty Alice Echo

The funeral for Liberty Echo was met by thousands of Seattle’s residents, who lined the edges of the streets and threw orange roses as the cortege passed by.

The hearse carrying Liberty was driven by Kip Sutherland and Will Montgomery of the Seattle Seahawks. The procession was led by two other members of the Seahawks and Will and Kip’s significant others, Meg McBride and Ashley Wilkes. Behind it was a line of vehicles, all flying orange ribbons and tributes to Miss Echo, driven by other Seahawks players, Sounders players and the retired Miami Dolphins team who’ll be playing the Seahawks for charity soon.

At the funeral itself, Kip and Will assisted Liberty’s family with carrying her coffin into the church. They had all spent a lot of time with her before she died, and on the night in question were reportedly with the family holding their hands and lending their strength as Liberty passed away.

After the funeral, the two stopped to place flowers and a football on another young leukemia victim’s grave who was said to be the bravest young man Will had ever met in his life. The only details we can give was that the young man was a former patient of his fiancée, Meg McBride.
