Draft Entry #2: Run Toward Adventure
I may not like to travel light, but I’ve decided to leave the girl I once was at Heathrow airport. Last night, in Tobago, I was a single girl, sipping cocktails in the moonlight with a fit, funny, infuriating man and loving every minute of it. I swear I did not see that coming. Going forward, that’s what I want: a surprise at every turn.
Affirmation: I will run toward adventure.
Even if I fall, bruise a knee, and lose face, I will get up and keep on running.
Welcome to Tobago
To our special guests, friends and family, we want to extend our warmest welcome. Thank you for joining us in beautiful Tobago to celebrate our special day, the start of a new journey. We are honoured to have you.
In your rooms you will find a welcome basket with bottled water, sunscreen, insect repellent, two types of painkillers, antacid, a map of the area, and a disposable camera (for fun).
