I bend down to buckle the ankle straps on my shoes. “What’s the big deal?”
“People go there to hook up.”
Butterflies hit my stomach as I look at him and see the small hint of jealousy on his face. “Well considering Anna is married and Faye is married, I think I’ll be fine.”
“Have you met Seraphina?” he asks me.
“Um, no. I haven’t even met Faye.”
He snorts. “Well I am sure Sera will be looking for someone to hook up with and will drag you along with her.”
I fold my arms over my chest. “Are you jealous, Mr. Taylor?”
He raises a brow at me. “Why would I be jealous?”
I strut over to him, swaying my hips on purpose to get a rise out of him. “Well because you seem to sound awfully jealous that someone may hit on me or dance with me or touch me.”
He lifts his glasses off his face and rubs his eyes. “No, I am just looking out for your safety.”
“Is that so?” I ask as I drag a finger up his bare leg. “You sure you aren’t jealous?”
I can see him fighting against my game. “Not at all,” he says with a strained look.
“Good.” I step away from him and grab my bag from the end of the bed. “Then I’ll see you in the office on Monday.”
I barely make it to the door when his arms wrap around me from behind, and he buries his head in my neck. “Or you could find your way back to my bed tonight when you are drunk and horny. You know no dick will compare to—”
I cut him off before he can continue. “You know, if you just left it at drunk and horny, you might have found me back here. But you had to go and bring your damn monster dick into the conversation.”
He chuckles against my neck. “Text me, Miss Prescott. We’ll see what you decide.”
“In your dreams, Mr. Taylor.”
He squeezes my sides then spins me around, kissing me deeply before slapping my ass and pushing me away. “Have fun, Grace. But I know I will be seeing you in a few hours.”
“Such high hopes,” I singsong as I turn around and walk out the door.
