Mathiras (Corsair Brothers 4) - Page 46

But the look Helen gives me is uncertain. “Mathiras, I don’t want to be your sister.”

Does she think I’m conflating her and Zoey again? I’m saying all the wrong things. The thoughts I have toward Helen are not familial in the slightest. Frustrated, aching for her sadness, I do the only thing I know will cheer her up and distract her. I move in, cup her face in my hand, and tilt it back.

“You’re not my sister,” I murmur, and then brush my lips over hers.

Her eyes widen and she smiles. She smiles so broadly that it’s like a ray of keffing sunshine and I just want to devour her. Before I can think about what I’m doing, I lean in and kiss her again. And again. I keep pressing small, insistent little pecks to her mouth, just like I’ve seen in the human vids that Zoey made us watch, and Helen remains perfectly still against me. I kiss her and I kiss her and it’s still not enough. Her soft mouth tastes like fruit and sweetness, and her lips are parted just enough that I imagine grazing my tongue against hers and just devouring her, but I’m trying to go slow.

Slow, I tell myself as I pepper another hungry kiss or three on her face. Go slow, Mathiras.

I pull away—

Helen’s arms go around my neck and she pulls me back down against her, pressing her mouth to mine.

Kef slow. With a groan, I wrap my arms around her and slant my mouth over hers, coaxing my tongue between the part of her lips. She gasps against me, and then her fingers curl against my nape and she’s touching her sweet little tongue to mine and I almost come in my trou. Hungrily, I tease my tongue against hers, then pull back, only to lick into her mouth again. She squirms in my arms, whimpering when I nibble on her lower lip. The sounds she’s making are driving me wild, just like the press of her lithe body and the flick of her tongue against mine.

Someone clears their throat nearby and I lift my head just enough to see a mesakkah family standing nearby, the mother giving me a look of sheer horror. Oh. Right. I’m frantically tonguing an ooli in public.

Helen makes a breathless noise in her throat, and I plant one last kiss on her tempting mouth, and then I pull away, the ooli holo-mask blinking up at me with the ugliest face. “Are we on a date now?”

I chuckle, resisting the urge to lick my lips and savor her taste. “I guess we are. We should probably save the rest of the kissing for when we return to the ship, though.”

Her expression brightens. “There’ll be more kissing?”

As if I could turn away such eagerness. I’m tired of being the one that always says no. Kissing won’t hurt anything, and kef me, I can already tell I’m going to be utterly addicted to kissing Helen. “Absolutely.”

She smiles again, and her gaze flicks down my body. “Oh, you were right. It does grow hard.”

Right? I glance down, and my cock is tenting the front of my trou to an embarrassing extent. Kef me. I discreetly adjust myself and decide it’s time for a distraction so my erection will go down. “Wanna feed the birds?”

The squeal of delight she makes has my cock twitching all over again.

CHAPTER 35

HELEN

I love feeding the birds…but I loved kissing Mathiras more.

I’m back to happy again, thinking about how he reached for me and how he was the one that kissed me. How he pressed his mouth to mine over and over again. It’s the first time he’s ever reached for me and not the other way around, and it makes me feel positively giddy. So when I run out of fruit tidbits to feed the birds, I fling my arms around his waist again. “Let’s go back to the ship and kiss some more.”

He chuckles, but instead of pushing me away like he normally does, he rubs my back. “You’re not sad anymore, right? Not gonna threaten anyone else’s balls when we go back?”

“Not unless they try to harm you,” I tell him. “Then, their balls are mine.”

Mathiras throws his head back and laughs. “I have to admit, I love this bloodthirsty side of you.”

He does? Oh, that makes me feel so good. I want to wiggle with pleasure, but I just squeeze him again. “This was the best date.”

“Mmm, parts of it could definitely be improved,” he murmurs, his hand sliding up and down my spine. “But it had a nice ending. I do suppose we need to get back. Adi’s probably going to want to stretch his legs, too. Buy something for Jade.”

“Did we accomplish our mission?”

His stern mouth twitches with amusement. “We did, yes. We met our contact and now we just need to wait—” Mathiras’s pocket chirps. He frowns, keeping one arm around me, and reaches into his pocket with his free hand, pulling out his data-pad. “What?” he asks, pressing a button on the side of it.
