I Never Knew Love 'til You (I Never 4) - Page 50

Chapter 24

Jaxon

Thearomaoflavender and mint—a combination I will always associate with Kate—is the first thing I notice when I wake from one of the best sleeps in years. I’m not sure if that’s thanks to the festivities that led into the early hours of the morning or the naked woman wrapped in my arms. Either way, I don’t care.

Although I would think the former would have me completely exhausted, I find myself—and my dick—fully awake.

When she stirs, her bare ass pushes against me, and I groan. How easily I could slip right inside her. Talk about a fantastic wake-up call.

Kate stretches and pulls away. Whether she’s trying to leave or just stretch, I’m not letting her go far. “No,” I protest and quickly intertwine my legs with hers. I press my lips against the exposed skin, and she moans in appreciation. I do it again and trail my fingers along the front of her body, finding her pussy already wet for me. She arches her back, begging for more as I drag my fingers through her wetness.

“You miss this cock inside you, baby?” I whisper, and she shivers under my husky tone.

“Yes,” she pants as she grinds against me.

“You want me to slide it inside you over and over, hitting that sweet spot?”

“Jaxon, stop teasing me and fuck me, please.” Hearing that word—please—on her lips makes me want to give her whatever she wants.

I wrap my hand around the base of my cock to line up with her entrance when the door handle jiggles. Cockblocked by my son.

“Daddy,” Andy shouts from the other side. “Why is the door not opening?” My son’s voice is like my balls being dipped in ice water.

“Oh shit,” Kate mumbles and lunges away from me with such a force she falls off the bed with a thump. “I’m okay,” she whispers.

I groan and run my hands over my face. Grabbing my boxers off the floor, I quickly slip them on.

When I reach the door, I glance over my shoulder and no longer see Kate. I don’t have time to look around more before Andy starts banging on the door.

I unlock the door and whip it open.

“Daddy! What took you so long? The door wouldn’t open.” He plants his hands on his hips, doing a great impression of me when he’s about to be in trouble.

“I’m sorry, buddy. I was getting dressed. I didn’t realize the door was locked.”

“Daddy,” he draws out. “You forgot clothes, silly.” He shakes his head in amusement.

I look down to where he stares at my bare chest.

I throw my hand in the air goofily, and he giggles. “You’re absolutely right. Why don’t you head downstairs and you can watch something on your iPad. It’s on the table. And I’ll get dressed.”

I wait to hear the pitter-patter of little footsteps down the stairs and close the door behind me.

“Kate? Kate?” I whisper loudly, looking around the room.

I hear movement on the floor by the side of the bed she was lying on, so I follow the sound.

I cover my mouth with my hand to suppress my loud laughter when I see Kate wrapped in the sheet but clearly still naked, worming her way out from under the bed.

“What the hell are you doing?” I ask, extending my hand to help her up.

“I’m sorry. I panicked.” She brushes off the sheet wrapped around her body. “I hadn’t realized that you had locked the door, and we haven’t discussed when to tell Andy, so I went to the closest place I thought of.”

I glance down at where she just came from. “Under the bed.”

“Hey, don’t judge,” she scolds when she sees me struggling to hold off my laughter. “Also, you should probably clean under there. It’s nasty.”

I walk over to the dresser and grab a pair of gym shorts, sad that our morning plans are derailed, or should I say postponed, because I am counting down the hours till I can be back inside her. “Sorry, I don’t typically hide women under there in the morning.”

Kate drops the sheet and searches for her clothes, finding them scattered throughout the room. I walk up behind her and wrap my arms around her just as she pulls her shirt over her head. She fits perfectly against me.

“I’d much rather spend the morning continuing where we left off.” I kiss her shoulder.

Spinning in my arms, she loops her hands around my neck. “Me too—but we’re supposed to go to breakfast with Finn and Lauren.”

“You sound more like a meal I’m craving.” She squirms in my hold when I squeeze her ass in my hands.

“Keep it in your pants, McAdams,” she laughs, shoving me away. She might be small, but she’s mighty. “I’m going to go home to shower.”

“Is there something wrong with the shower here?”

Kate’s eyes darken, and she blinks them away. “Yeah, actually. I think it will be more of the opposite of getting clean.”

I stalk toward her, and she retreats, holding her hand up. “Oh no, Mr. I’ll see you soon.”

Before I can reach her, she’s already out the door and running down the stairs.
