Tell Me Everything - Page 32

Again, my body takes over, the primal part of me surging up until it’s all I can think about… her hot, young, wet pussy. How it’ll seep for me when I drive into her.

I wonder what she’ll feel like, her lips wrapped around my dick, as I inch deeper and deeper.

She breaks the kiss, whimpering. “I don’t think… not here.”

“You’re right.”

I take a step back. If I don’t, I’ll end up pouncing on her again.

“I want our first time to be special. But when I kiss you, goddamn, it’s like I lose the ability to think.”

“Me too,” she murmurs. “Except, well…”

“What?” I urge.

She folds her arms, squeezing her breasts together. My mouth waters at the sight of her tits pressed together, tempting me to reach forward and touch them, tear her clothes loose and take her nipples into my mouth.

“What if I can’t do it?” she whispers. “What if I freak out like I did when I told you I was a virgin?”

I take her hands, careful not to hold them too tightly.

Every moment, it’s a struggle not to let all of the pent-up pressure go, all at once, in a sudden surge.

“You won’t,” I tell her. “I can feel how much you want it, as badly as I do. We…”

We were made for each other. And I know you want to bear my children just as much as you want to be mine.

But what if she doesn’t? We haven’t even spoken about children.

She might not want a family.

“And if that happens,” I go on, “we’ll try again. Nothing’s going to stop me from claiming that perfect young body of yours.”

She places her hand on my chest, sighing breathily.

“I’ve got an idea.” I smirk. “Why don’t we do a practice run? For the talk show?”

She shakes her head, but I can tell she’s interested. More and more, my woman’s expressions are becoming easier for me to read.

“Really?”

“I know you’re nervous,” I say. “But I promise I won’t judge. And it could be good practice.”

She swallows, as though summoning her courage, and then stares daringly at me.

“Okay, Preston. Let’s do it.”

CHAPTER NINETEEN

Penny

Even if I know the camera isn’t really recording, I find it difficult to smile with the confidence I’ve envisioned countless times. In my dreams, I’m always self-assured on camera. Holding myself with expert poise.

Now, I feel my body buzzing with the knowledge of what I’m doing.

The man I’m interviewing would never judge me. After all, we’ve shared this afternoon, I know that without having to question it.

He wants me to succeed. He doesn’t want to humiliate me.

Heck, he gave me this studio, something I’d never have access to without him.

Reminding myself there are countless women who’d kill for this chance, I address the camera.

“Thanks for tuning in, ladies and gents, to the Penny Packer Show—”

I stop short, my hands flying up to my mouth.

Preston is standing just off to the side. I turn to find his gaze searing into me, his jaw ticking at my slip up.

Penny Packer, as though what we’ve shared means we’re going to get married one day, as though I can presume that much. I swallow, attempting to force away the nerves.

I just hope Preston doesn’t read too much into it.

Ultimately, yes, that’s where I want us to go. I just hope he doesn’t see the truth.

I hope it doesn’t scare him away.

I can’t endure that, even the idea of it, coming so far together, so quickly, only for me to make a mistake and ruin everything.

“Our next guest is a world-famous football star, patron of several charities, and an all-around handsome guy. Please welcome, Preston Packer.”

Preston cups his hands and begins to cheer into them, and then claps in the most over-the-top way, making me laugh as he swaggers toward the chair.

“This is how celebrities walk on talk shows, right? It’s been a while.”

I laugh. “Sure, whatever you’re comfortable with.”

When he sits, I suddenly realize I have no clue what to ask him. Nobody’s watching – except for the man of my wildest dreams - and yet I feel my lips go dry, my throat tighten.

On a real show, I would have prepared questions, surely.

But that’s no excuse. If I want to do this one day, really do it, I should be able to think on the spot.

“So, Preston, I like to start by asking if you have anybody special in your life.”

Okay, okay… I’ve got no idea where that came from.

My heart gives a flutter, clearly approving of the question.

Preston smirks, going with the flow. “I do.”

“Can you tell us a little about her?”

Preston leans forward, staring at me with so much intensity my body heats. It’s like he’s going to forget about the interview and leap on me like an animal, but then he pauses.

“She’s the most beautiful, sexiest, most fascinating woman I’ve ever met.”
