A Fated Night - Page 16

“You turned me on long ago, Ms. Losers.”

“For the love of my sanity, fuck me.”

“It would be my pleasure.” He dipped his finger and thumb into her bra to give her nipple a hard, titillating pinch. “And yours, hopefully.”

Ken stood up first. Even though he was physically away from her, Lana still breathed his air and inhaled the musk emanating from his body. Fuuuuck, I want him. I want him so badly I might make a fool of myself if I’m not careful! Lana accepted a helping hand to get off the couch. For some reason she thought it pertinent to fix her scrunched pencil skirt on the way to her hotel bed. Always about appearances, even when they didn’t matter much anymore.

“Come here.” Ken stopped her halfway across the room, holding her head close to his so he could kiss her without struggle. The dastardly way he planted his lips on hers was almost too delicious to conceive. Even though it was a seemingly simple closed-mouth kiss, Lana still reeled from it. No man has kissed me like this before. Not even the suave devils who thought they were God’s gift to women. Oh, hell, especially them. They were a fake kind of bravado, anyway. Ken was the real deal. That had to be why she was nervous, even though she refused to let it show. I don’t want him to think I don’t want to do this.

The closed-mouth kiss turned open-mouth. His tongue pressed upon hers, unmoving. Was that how he thought of her right now? Was it a sign of what he had in mind for her? Push me down, hold yourself on top of me, take what you want… Lana would not oppose.

“I think I have made the right decision,” he said when he turned away, hand lingering in hers as he continued to lead her to the bed. “About business versus pleasure, that is.”

Lana remained standing by the edge of the bed even after Ken sat on it. She straddled his bent leg, the strength of his muscular thigh splitting hers apart. She wanted to kiss him. Hold him to her. Grind her cunt against his leg and make him feel the heat she spilled for him. But Lana could practice a good amount of self-control too. Enough to taunt him with a slow and deliberate undressing of her body – and his.

“I have no regrets thus far.” Lana pulled her rosy blouse over her head and tossed it onto the floor. Ken braced himself against the bed, eyes wide and glued to her chest. Someone is a breast man. Not every man could be pigeonholed into one of many categories, but Lana definitely knew how to play up a breast man, a leg man, an ass man, or, God help her, a foot man. Breasts were the easiest. Almost always at eye level. Ready for heavy petting and a killer pair of lips. It helped that she wore one of her favorite bras that day. Extra comfortable. Extra voluptuous.

“You get hotter by the second, Lana.” He couldn’t help himself. Even though it meant a loss of balance, Ken tugged on the little strip of fabric holding her two bra cups together. Lana didn’t need that distraction. She was busy unbuttoning this man’s vest and the shirt beneath. “I’d have been a fool to not have come up here to fuck you. I’d have regretted it for the rest of my life.”

“You’re fluffing up my self-esteem, that’s for sure.” Lana slowly pulled her thighs up his leg once his vest came off.

“Good. I vastly prefer women with high self-esteem.”

So you can tear it down? How unfortunate that was Lana’s first thought. “Do you have a condom?”

Some of the life came back to his eyes. Whatever he had been fantasizing about had crashed into the pit of his stomach once reality came knocking. “Yes. In my wallet.” He glanced at his back pocket.

“That’s dangerous, you know.” Lana Losers, woman on the prowl and sexual educator of all men she encountered, reached into his pocket and pulled out his leather wallet. The initials KSA were carefully etched within a royal fleur-de-lis design. What’s his middle name? Samuel? Seth? Solomon? Steven? Lana opened it, pleasantly surprised to see the man kept his things meticulous. Cards. ID. Cash. (A lot of it.) Stephen. I was close. Good for him for having a decent driver’s license photo, and good for him for having a separate slim container to keep a condom in. Not only was it more discreet, but it was a smart way to protect one’s prophylactics. Lana pulled out the condom and tossed Ken’s wallet onto the floor. She didn’t care about the other junk.
