D is for Deacon (Men of ALPHAbet Mountain) - Page 27

He responded immediately. I love it! Does it hurt much?

It’s sore, I messaged back.

So, I guess it will be a little while before I’m able to touch it.

Seeing that message made my heart flutter. I was suddenly imagining Deacon running his fingertip along the edges, and my body heated up. The thought turned me on, and soon I was grinning to myself as I headed for the shower. I knew the perfect way to relax away all the tension I’d been feeling.

Stepping into the shower, I let the warm water run over my skin as I closed my eyes to envision Deacon. I reached up and got the handheld showerhead down, adjusting the stream to a gentle pulse. Leaning back against the wall, I spread my legs and tucked the showerhead between my thighs. The water touched my clit, and I let out a gasp of pleasure.

I ran my hand down my body, stroking my nipple with my palm before moving my hand between my legs to slide two fingers inside my body. Thrusting my fingers, I swept the showerhead over my most sensitive tissues while imagining Deacon’s hands and mouth on me.

It didn’t take long for my body to clench down on my fingers as I cried out. The orgasm was so intense it made my knees shake. I slid down to the floor of the shower, laughing softly.

DEACON

Saturday mornings were usually a bit slower, a bit more peaceful for me. I liked that. While I was still an early morning riser, I enjoyed taking my time doing things on Saturday mornings, getting around to getting dressed late and maybe having a second helping of breakfast.

Not this Saturday.

This Saturday, I found myself up in a blind, my nose cold, and my ass numb from sitting so long. A rifle sat on my lap, pointing out as usual. The chair I sat on was metal and old, and cold as hell too. Good thing I was wearing thermal underwear.

It wasn’t how I wanted to be spending my Saturday morning, if I had to be honest. I was doing this mostly for Everett’s benefit. He seemed way more into the idea of hanging out with Aiden and hunting than I was. I had other priorities, that if I had a chance, I would be pursuing.

Rebecca was at work. She had a shift that morning, and it meant I was free to say yes to the hunting trip. If I hadn’t been, I was damn tempted to go over to Rebecca’s house, sweet-talk her into joining me in a relaxing afternoon by my fireplace while Everett was out hunting, and then see if one thing could lead to another. If we could end up in my bedroom and I could scratch the itch that had been driving me crazy since we started texting and I gave myself a Pavlovian response to my phone alert sound.

Instead of possibly hugging a nice, soft, naked body, I was hugging myself, trying to keep warm in the excessively large wooden tree blind.

I had to admit, it was a nice setup, though. True, my chair sucked, but the one Aiden was sitting on was essentially a recliner, and Everett had taken the other one with cushions. It left the “guest chair,” as Aiden called it. I didn’t think it would bother me.

It did.

The rest of the blind was set up like a little house, windows shut on all sides with big planks of wood and a hook. A picnic table was set up in the center with our coolers, a couple of thermoses of hot coffee, and a couple more of hot soup. I was thankful for that, at least.

“Getting more coffee?” Everett asked as I stood up.

“Yeah,” I said. “Probably some of that stew too.”

“Good stuff,” Aiden said. “Desiree’s family recipe. I always have a container of it in the fridge.”

“Right on. Can I get anyone anything?”

“Coffee,” Everett said without pause.

“I’ll go get my own in a few minutes,” Aiden said. “Still finishing this one up.” He waved his mug in the air, and I nodded, heading back in from the porch area to the inside.

I made two coffees and a bowl of soup, grabbing my camping knife with the spoon and fork built in, and went back outside. Just as I walked onto the porch, a shot rang out, and I looked up to see Everett’s gun smoking and a deer a good thirty yards away from the clearing in front of us.

“I’ll be damned,” Aiden said. “He came out of nowhere. Good shot.”

“Thanks,” Everett said. “That’s two on the day.”

“Not bad,” I said. “It’s still early.”

“I’ll be honest, that might be all we get today,” Aiden said. “I haven’t seen much movement anywhere, and I think that was our one stroke of good luck.”

“Well, if it is, let’s just split the two even between us,” Everett said.
