Rejected by the Alpha (Alpha Shifter Collection) - Page 27

She loved it when he talked dirty. Misha put her fingers on her clit, staring into his blue eyes and feeling the pulse of his dick, which only aroused her more. She felt this desperation to have the flood of his cum filling her up.

All she wanted to do when she was near Decker was fuck him, mate him, and be with him every single day.

It was hard for her to fight it. As she came on his length and felt him start to take her, sliding in and out of her until he reached his orgasm, she knew deep down that she didn’t want to fight him.

“You’re happy, son,” Decker Senior said.

Decker looked out at the town hall. Misha was across the room, seated at a desk with Ernie, one of the pack’s oldest men. He was known for being a grumpy asshole, always complaining about everything. The cell service. Modern times. The internet. Kids with no respect. There was a time he sat and listened to Ernie complain about the mail as well. The old times were always better and much brighter.

Even when his father was pack alpha, Ernie had a whole host of complaints.

“My life with Misha is working,” Decker said. “She’s going to forgive me.” He wasn’t going to tell his father that she tried to wash the scent of him away. The pack must know by now that he’d been coming home from her place every single night for the past couple of weeks.

It was only when they left her place that he ran home and changed into fresh clothes, that he left her side. Also, when she had to do her other jobs. The pack needed her, and he was starting to grow a little jealous of them. They didn’t need her all the time.

“Have you approached the mating with her?” his father asked.

“Er, no.”

“Son, you know she is only your mate when you truly take her as such. With the full moon riding high, and she submits to you, just as you submit to her, with the pack close by to protect you as you ride that high until the morning.”

“She’s not ready.”

“Then you are not truly mated, son. You know this. You know the binds that need to be tied.”

“Misha isn’t ready for that. She has to forgive me,” Decker said, running his fingers through his hair. As he did, he remembered last night when he licked her pussy and she’d gripped his head, rubbing herself against him.

Damn it. Now wasn’t the time to have all of these memories. He needed to put a stop to it before it drove him crazy.

“Then you’re going to have to ask yourself what Misha is ready for,” his father said as he came to stand with him, and they both looked to where his mate talked with Ernie.

Much to his surprise, she had Ernie laughing and joking around.

“Now I never thought I would see that,” Decker Senior said. “That old man would not laugh at a single joke. He said laughter was the devil’s work. He was determined to be miserable.”

“Misha is amazing. The pack adores her.”

“Question is, what do you feel? Do you love her? Do you want to mate with her because you couldn’t imagine being with anyone else, or are you filling the void of an alpha?”

“I love her, Dad. I do.”

“Then you are going to have to win her over. She doesn’t have to be your mate if she doesn’t want to be. Three years is a long time to forgive.” His father slapped him on the back, which he knew was his way of attempting to encourage him.

It didn’t help.

Looking at Misha as Ernie left, he watched as she went back into the office and lifted a bunch of files. She’d pinned up her long brown locks. She had also put on another skirt, and this one seemed to swish and flow around her legs. The shirt she wore was oversized, but as she moved, he saw the fullness of her tits beneath. She was so fucking sexy.

He wanted her.

His dick hardened.

This wasn’t new for him. Whenever he was around Misha, he wanted her. Even after three years of denying himself, she still aroused him.

He went to his doorway as she approached. “There’s a whole list of complaints here.”

“Step right into my office,” he said.

He closed the door behind her. Decker inhaled as she passed. The heavy scent of vanilla surrounded her, but he detected his own smell as well. It was way too subtle for his liking.

Misha sat down with the files in her lap.

“How is good old Ernie?” he asked.

“Good old Ernie doesn’t like the teenagers letting off firecrackers near his home. The big bangs are not good for his bones, and he wants you to have a word with them for having respect for the elders in this town. I told him straight that you wouldn’t accept it and would deal with the problem immediately.”
