Her words hit me hard right in the chest. Willa Banks is making all my dreams come true. I know it’s too soon, but I’m already working day and night to put my baby in her. I want her tied to me in every way possible.
I stand up and throw her over my shoulder. “JD, what are you doing?”
“You’re making good on your promise, Willa. Read, food, bed, remember?”
“We didn’t eat,” she says, laughing.
“We’ll heat it up.” I take the stairs two at a time, ready to be inside her.
I set her down next to the bed and she pulls her shirt off. “If you insist.”
