Obsessive (Diamondback MC Second Generation 1) - Page 16

“Love you.” Ender’s hands move to my hair, playing with the strands, both of us finally fucking content.

CHAPTER 18

LAVENDER

“Hmmm.” I curl deeper into Ryder’s side, my nose making contact with his throat, mouth opening, wanting to taste every inch of him like he did to me all throughout the night.

“Mornin’, Ender.” Ryder’s voice breaks through my lust-filled fog. My hand touches the necklace he still wears. God this man, he’s full of surprises.

“Shit, I have to get up. My clothes are still packed.” I sit up, my eyes caressing a path down his muscular chest and noticing the sheet tenting at his hardening cock.

“My eyes are up here, baby.” I reluctantly give him what he’s asking for.

“Yes?” His tongue comes out to lap at his lower lip. My mind goes back to how he used that tongue on me and how I want it over and over again.

“Your car is in the driveway. You were out like a light after that first round. Didn’t even hear me leave, let alone move when I got back into bed until you reached for my cock. The boxes are in the living room. All you gotta do is shower, and you’re set.” It’s like the years have dissipated, where he was taking care of me before much like he is now.

“God, I love you, Ryder.” I move so I’m straddling his hips, his cock pressed against my core.

“Love you, Ender, always, and as much as I love where you are, all ripe and ready for me to slide inside, I’m thinkin’ it won’t look good if you’re late for work on your first day.” Ryder’s big hands cup the undersides of my breasts and lift them up. His body knifes up, and his mouth attaches to one of my nipples.

“Ryder.” He lets go as fast as he latched on.

“We’ll finish this when you get home tonight. I’ll take care of the groceries, since there isn’t shit to eat in the house. You go to work, rock that shit, and tell the apartment manager you’re not takin’ the studio. They give you any shit, call your man, yeah?”

“Ugh, it’s going to be the longest day ever, but since a shower and food are in order, you’re right.” That doesn’t stop me from lifting my hips and allowing the head of Ryder’s cock to be poised at my entrance, then for me to lower my body down on his length. Two can play this game. I’m not going to be the only one left aching.

“Fuckin’ shit, Ender.” Ryder’s head tips back, and this time, it’s me seeking his lips, swallowing down his moan, my pussy clenching in need as he drives deeper inside of me.

“Gotta go, babe. Love you.” I climb off him before he knows what I’m doing, running like the hounds of hell are at my feet.

“We’ll shower together, conserve water. Our well will thank us for that later.” I didn’t get very far, literally right inside the bathroom that’s just as luxurious as the rest of the house.

“Is that what they call it?” Ryder’s arms are wrapped around my waist, chin to my shoulder, holding me like he’s just as scared to let me go as I am of it too.

“Yeah, Ender, and I’m about to show you just what that means.” Needless to say, he makes good on his promise. I’m barely out the door in time to stop for a quick bite to eat and to get to work by the skin of my teeth as a loan officer in a mortgage company in town. God, Daisy would die laughing at me now, in a business-casual-type outfit and working behind the computer. I can just imagine the conversation I’ll be having with her once I’m home tonight, a home with Ryder.

CHAPTER 19

HAWK

“Babe, you need to let this shit go. Talk with your father. Think about all the years we lost. He’s gettin’ on in age. Don’t know when life will take that.” Ender is sitting on my lap. It’s the end of her work week. The club is having a Friday night party where the gates are open, and if people want to hang out, they’re more than welcome to.

I’ve talked to Shovel a handful of times, seeing the sadness in his eyes when the subject lands on Ender. He gets hopeful and then shuts down. Shovel knows he fucked up, but shit is he’s as stubborn as his daughter.

“Ugh, I know you’re right, Ryder. I know it. It’s been too long, and it’s not helping anything. Mom is walking on eggshells. My heart hurts not to call him on the way to work and just chat about nothing. I’ve been talking to Daisy on those rides to work, and even she is unimpressed, telling me to quit being like the old man and pull my head out of my own ass.” I chuckle and take a sip of my beer. Leave it to Daisy to tell it to her straight. If I said it like that, I’d be in the dog house, and there ain’t no way in hell I’m leaving our bed and am not sleeping beside my woman ever again.
