The Accidental Text - Page 37

He smirks, but just like with his tone, there’s a new quality to the shape of his lips. It’s like he can’t hold back all the emotions inside of him.

“I mean it,” he snarls. “I’ve never meant anything more. I feel it with every fiber of my being. I feel it in my bones. You’re mine and I’m yours. There’s no way around it. We belong to each other.”

“Yes.” I grip onto his chest. “Three years, Asher. For three years we’ve both wanted each other. I should’ve texted you so much sooner.”

“But you didn’t know,” he says with heavy emotion. “I’ve been there too. I know how ridiculous it seems when you’ve only got one half of the story. You had no way of knowing I was going through the exact same thing.”

“What if I never sent you that text accidentally?” I whisper. “We wouldn’t be here. We wouldn’t be sharing this.”

“I can only thank God or fate or destiny or blind luck that you did,” he says passionately. “When I realized the mystery text belonged to you, you can’t know how shocked I was. There you were, still as curvy and beautiful and captivating as the first moment I saw you.”

His hands smooth down my shoulders, my body, clasping onto my hips. I whimper as he applies more pressure. “You want children with me, Autumn, the same way I do with you?”

“Yes.” I smile with pure joy. “I’ve been thinking about it for years. I’ve been… well, let’s just say there’s a lot of you online and in bookstores.”

He grins widely. “Are you telling me you’ve been doing a little light stalking, beautiful?”

I giggle. “I couldn’t possibly comment…”

“I don’t blame you,” he says. “If I could have found pictures of you online, I’d never get off the computer. Especially if you looked as beautiful and ready to start our future as you do now.”

He kisses me again, with more pressure than last time. I moan through the tight press of our lips and squeeze onto his with even more force.

His hand starts to slide up my leg, fiery against my bare skin, pushing under the hem of my dress toward my sex.

But then he stops, reeling back.

“We can’t do this here,” he growls. “And I know you said you wanted to wait.”

“No!” I say, shocking myself with the force of the word. “I don’t want to wait. I just felt like I might have to. I’ve never done anything before. I don’t want to disappoint you. But if you’re willing to be patient…”

“Patient?” He smirks. “We’ve got the rest of our lives. I can be patient… Well, I can try.”

I swallow, nerves buzzing, telling me not to do this, telling me I’m going to make a fool of myself when the time comes. But the doubts seem so small and powerless in comparison to the certainty in my chest, telling me that this is the right thing to do.

My core beats in time with my heart, calling out for his body, his seed, his primal need.

“Then I think… I’d like to try. I want to be with you, Asher. I want us to have children together.”

“We need to get out of here,” he growls. “I need you someplace private, someplace I can explore that sexy body of yours. Fuck, you’re going to be so tight around my thick cock. I’m getting hard just thinking about it.”

“Really?” I murmur.

He chuckles. “Do you want to check?”

A shiver courses through me. My clit buzzing.

Looking over my shoulder to double-check we’re alone, I reach out my hand. I tremble slightly with the forwardness, but I keep going until I’m leaning down and my palm is pressed against his manhood.

He groans and I gasp, stunned at how big he feels, even trapped in his pants. His manhood is a solid rod. I stroke it up and down, hoping I’m doing it right. I think I am if his grunts are any indication.

“We have to go,” he snarls. “I can’t wait any longer. I need you so much it hurts.”

He stands, offering me his hand.

Our meal forgotten, I take his hand and we walk back down the rose-petal path together.

CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO

Asher

“There’s something I should tell you, before we get home,” I say, as I drive the car back through the city, toward my apartment.

I’m driving as fast as I can without breaking the law, hungrily eager to get my woman – my goddamn woman – into bed so I can tear off that dress and reveal her juicy body. She looks at me, eyebrows raised, with that innocent-like suspicion still nestled within her expression.

It's like she thinks I’m going to take back everything I said, when I never would, never could. Learning she feels the same way I do has me too obsessed to even think about doing that, not that it would ever cross my mind.
