Billionaires in Vegas - Page 23

Kathryn gapes at me, that pretty mouth of hers almost enticing enough to fuck again. At this rate, I might have to.

I don’t know if I was too good with my fingers or what, but she actually has the fortitude to shake her head, sit up, and pour herself another glass of wine. This time she hands it to me first.

“I would love for you to take me to pound town, believe me.”

“Uh huh.” I drink half the wine in the glass. I need it.

“It’s only a few more days. After the hearing, we’ll have so much sex our heads will spin for a month.” She takes back the glass and finishes off the wine. “I love you. I do.”

She kisses my neck, I guess because my mouth is too far away now. “Suppose I can’t even share a bed with you tonight.”

“You think we could do that and not have intercourse?”

“No,” I admit. I would be like a feral animal sniffing around trying to hump everything. I have no hope in myself in that regard. ‘Cause I would hump her. Totally. “Fucking hell, Katie, it’s four days until Monday!”

“I know.”

“My mom is in my room!”

“I know.”

I look down in my lap. “Well I can’t go back with this happening.” My hand dramatically gestures to my brand new erection, in case she can’t see it. “It’ll be like high school again.” I don’t mean it that way, but I referenced the first time we tried to hook up, back in high school. I embarrassed myself quite righteously back then. Embarrassed myself all over her leg before I could even stick it in.

Apparently whatever I said made her feel ornery again. She pushes her jeans down, kicking them off until they crumple on the ground. She’s half naked and so gorgeous that’s it a wonder I don’t bend down and slobber all over her thighs.

“Come on, then.” I can hardly believe my eyes. Kathryn lies down, spreads her legs and pulls aside her underwear as if she’s gonna let me fuck her. (I know better.) “Do your worst. Without touching me.”

With one hand clutched around my cock, I do just that. I’m not leaving this room until my wife’s pink place isn’t so pink anymore.

And by every bending of the law out there, it’s still not technically consummated!

Kathryn

“You look great. Dressed like I asked you to.”

Miguel is more pleased with himself than I am, and I’m not doing too bad, for a woman who is dressed in business casual in the middle of a courthouse.

This place is a mess. People are yelling. Everyone has a gun. Cops are either yawning or looking around for someone to tackle. I’m hoping that my party here is so nice looking that they’ll never look at us twice.

What a group we make.

Two lawyers, dressed like... well, dressed like lawyers. Me, in a dark blue pantsuit and my hair up in a tight French twist so it’s like I’m about to make a presentation to some potential clients. The woman who is technically my mother-in-law, wearing all black like she’s going to a funeral. And the man who is technically my husband, sitting five yards away from me and trying not to make eye contact. He’s got the three-piece suit on with the jacket off. It’s air conditioned here in the courthouse, but he’s sweating. It’s probably the tie. He hates wearing ties.

It’s taking a lot of restraint to not straighten it out for him. I leave it to Caroline, who chastises him for looking so sloppy in front of a judge.

You’d never guess that he and I are in love. That after all this is over we’re going to go get a nice dinner and get as far away from the lawyers and mother as possible. Not that we’ve had a lot of difficulties these past few days. Not being able to have full-on sex has made us... creative. I didn’t know that frottage could feel so damn good until last night, when Ian came over desperate to touch me. It was five minutes of the best dry humping in my life. I think he got more out of it than I did, though... based on how he staggered away as if blitzed out of his mind.

Speaking of blitzed out of one’s mind... here we go. They’re calling us in. Time to face my drunken shame.

I’ve only been in a courtroom a few times in my life, which I realize means I’ve been in a courtroom a lot more than most people... but I was never the center of attention before. Sometimes I went to hearings regarding charities I was involved in. I once helped a charity-based homeless shelter sue the pants off some asshole who tried to make off with their money. I was once called as a witness because someone I tangentially worked with ten years ago was being charged with fraud.

So, I’m not the most comfortable person in a courtroom. I’m ushered to the front by my lawyer. He’s the only person sitting on my side, because at least Ian has his mother.
