Billionaires in Vegas - Page 2

Even I am slouching in my seat, imagining what she can do with that tongue and those lips. Trust me. I know. She’s has both wrapped around my dick more times than I could ever blissfully count.

The only thing keeping the other men from staring at her for too long is the gold band glistening on her right ring finger. You know, the one that matches mine? Yeah, more than one guy has caught on to that. One by one they look away, clearing their throats and drinking a lot of whatever they’re having.

Frisk is the first to speak again. “I am sure such a thing can be arranged. We didn’t mean to imply that all discussion ends here tonight.”

“I should hope not, gentlemen.” Kathryn crosses her legs and sits up straight, pushing up her breasts with the sheer force of her torso and arms. The only reason I’m not melting like a stick of butter in the microwave is because I don’t have to wonder what’s in there. I know. Actually, knowing can make it worse sometimes...

By the time we bring an end to our business dinner, I am fairly confident that these three will come out east within a month to hear us out some more. Hopefully by then the real estate climate will have changed a little. If nothing else, it gives Kathryn and I a month to put together a presentation that will probably bring my father another billion dollars—and all he has to do is sit on his ass and smoke his cigars. And be henpecked by my mother. Have I told you that they’re back together again? No, no, they broke up yet again before Christmas. Then got together after New Year’s... I think... I have a hard time keeping up with the Ballad of Caroline and Dominic Mathers. I think they’re on verse seventeen by now.

Kathryn slips out to use the restroom, leaving me to bid the official adieus to the JKL Group. J and K leave fairly quickly, one of them nursing a little friend in his trousers that he is desperate to keep the rest of the restaurant from seeing. The L, on the other hand, offers to shake my hand again after putting on his coat.

“Looking forward to the presentation, Ian,” Simon says. “Not to mention... that’s quite the firecracker you have on your team there. Does she get charity money the same way she gets business ventures?”

“No, afraid not.” I lower my voice. “She gets men that way though.”

“Oh, I’m sure.”

Simon is still hot under his collar when he leaves. I head over to the bar and claim a couple of seats for Kathryn and me. She comes back from the bathroom as the bartender gives us two Old Fashioneds, our favorite drinks to have together. There are a lot of fond memories in those glasses.

“So nice to be done with that,” Kathryn says, tossing her blond hair over her shoulder and drinking her whiskey. “I never thought we’d lose those guys.”

I snort into my glass and immediately let my hand roam over her bare knee. Fuck me, I haven’t felt her skin all night. I’m addicted. A slobbering mess. Alcohol doesn’t even compare to her. You would never guess we spend most of our nights together now, including sharing a room here in Vegas. It’s our second day in town, and I’m already drinking in the sight of her in her lingerie as she sleeps in our warm room overlooking the strip.

Strip. That’s a good word.

“I think it went well,” I say. “My father won’t be displeased, anyway.”

“And mine won’t tell me to get a different job.”

Stop me from snorting, please! “You don’t have an official job, my dear. You do as you please. A truly modern woman.”

Kathryn rolls her eyes, but says nothing. She knows I’m right. Kathryn has never really been “employed.” Like me, she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth but grew up determined to prove that she deserves to keep it. She works harder than anyone else I know, whether it’s raising fundraiser money for non-profits, or helping me make my family a shitton more money in the hospitality industry. She gets to keep a fair chunk for herself, of course.

Unlike me, however, she doesn’t have a cock, which means she works twice as hard as any guy I know in our same situation. She also doesn’t work for her father like I do. Well, my father and I are practically business partners at this point, but I digress. Kathryn’s father is pretty much retired with his money working in investments. As the only child, Kathryn has a lot resting on her shoulders to make sure the money keeps rolling in. She’s almost thirty and hasn’t settled on one thing, however. If you ask me? We need to merge houses and throw all the Alison money in with the Mathers and take over every hotel on the eastern seaboard until we’re so stinking rich we make Melinda and Bill look quaint.
