The Christmas Virgin: A Filthy Dirty Christmas - Page 2

“The pleasure is all mine.” Halo steps inside the room and stops. A breath whooshes out of her. I stop with her. I can tell she’s taking in everything, from the lights to the tables, the dance floor, bar area, and floral arrangements. Shit, I’m impressed myself. Clearly, Ash had a lot of help in the department.

“Wow, this is really impressive.”

“I’d say so. Care for a drink? Something tells me we both might need it.” It takes a moment for Halo to respond. My hackles start to rise thinking maybe she’s already taken. It wouldn’t shock me in the least. A beautiful woman like her, I’d be a fool to think she’s single.

“Please.” Her voice is barely above a whisper.

“I probably should have asked well before now, but are you here with someone? I’d hate to monopolize your time.” She shakes her head no before words tumble from her lips.

“No, no, nothing like that. This is just a lot. More than this country bumpkin is used to. Never in my wildest dreams did I think this was what would be in store in my life, ever.” Well, fuck me sideways, this woman is not only a knockout but isn’t like some of the other ladies in town who see something opulent and have dollar signs in their eyes. We make our way to the bar. I bend down to whisper in her ear, “Don’t let this fool you. Knowing Ash, he handed over a credit card and let his assistant have his way. All he cares about are fishing reports and the money in his bank account, and seeing this, he’ll be crying come Monday morning when the bill comes in.” In all honesty, Ash is going to shit himself, especially when he realizes that there isn’t a cash bar. I think this to myself as we make it up to the makeshift bar area filled with all kinds of liquor and beer.

“It really is gorgeous, maybe a little over the top for a fishing company. I bet most employees were shocked, too, when they received the invitation.” I don’t bother telling her how I know Ash. There’s a time when it’s good not to lay all your cards on the table.

“What do you want to drink?” I ask her.

“Michelob Ultra, bottle or can, please,” she responds. It shouldn’t shock me that she didn’t go for wine or a fruity mixed drink, yet it does.

“Not a draft girl?” The face she makes has me chuckling.

“No, I get that it’s cheaper, but it’s just gross to me.” She shrugs.

“Understandable.” I nod at the bartender, grabbing his attention. “Can I get a Michelob Ultra in a bottle and a Macallan neat?”

“A whiskey type of man, huh?” Halo jokes. The bartender places our drinks on the counter. I fish out some cash for the tip jar, knowing too well what it’s like to work as a bartender or waitstaff.

“Yep, simple man over here.” I wink at her. She laughs, not a girly giggle but a laugh, one that comes from deep in her chest.

“Something tells me there’s nothing simple about you.” She takes a sip of her beer. I watch as she swallows the golden-brown liquid, knowing damn well that tonight, I’ll be watching her take my cock, her throat rippling around my length, my cum sliding down, and her swallowing it much the way she’s swallowed her drink.

CHAPTER 3

Halo

Okay, call me crazy. I should be asking more about Warren, getting to know him, what he does, how he’s here, because I’ve surely never met him before while working in the office. The only thing we both established was that neither of us is with anyone. We ate, drank, and danced. The food was delicious, an assortment of different types of rich foods I’d never buy, not because I don’t enjoy them but because if I bought them, I’d gorge myself till it was gone. The desserts were absolutely amazing, and Warren had no problem teasing me about the joy I took when it came to the cheesecake. The way I moaned out my appreciation had him re-situating himself in his seat. A couple of more beers for me, another glass of whiskey for him, then he took me out on the dance floor. Boy, did we dance, my body molded to his, Warren’s knee wedged tightly against the apex of my thighs. A delicious tingle settled in my core the entire time. Neither of us left the other unless it was to use the restroom, and even then, he escorted me to and from. It was like something out of a romance novel.

The undivided attention Warren is giving me almost had me pinching myself several times now. The party seemed to get rowdier, and it wasn’t like I needed to make my rounds to co-workers. For the most part, I kept to myself besides Rita, and she was nowhere to be seen throughout the whole night. My eyes were peeled, which surprised me because she was so gung-ho about making a splash in her dress. I’ll have to see what happened come Monday.
