Gentle Scars (To Be Claimed 2) - Page 36

“Five more minutes.” Both he and Dom huff a masculine laugh at my reluctance to wake up.

“Wake up, little one. Do you feel your wolf?” My eyes shoot open at the mention of my wolf. She came to me. I felt her.

“You healed while you were asleep.”

“All my hard-earned marks are gone.” Caleb pouts playfully, but I can see the overwhelming happiness in his eyes.

With disbelief, I quickly throw aside the bit of blanket remaining on my body and turn to look at my ass and thighs. Tears prick my eyes when I see that she healed me. My wolf. She came back to me. I close my eyes and try to feel her, try to talk to her, but I feel empty and alone. My lips pull down and a sadness flows through me. I don’t want to hope that she’ll come back. I can’t take the disappointment.

“Hey, don’t be upset.” Caleb tugs my bottom lip with his teeth and kisses me.

“Do you think she can hear us?” I nearly react to Dom’s unspoken words. The muted voices in my head ask, “Can you hear us, little one?”

“Can you hear me, baby?”

Keeping my eyes shut, I will them to hear me, admitting the words I’m afraid to say aloud. “I love you. I love you both so much.”

“Give us a sign if you can hear us.” I hear Dom’s voice and those damn tears threaten again.

“I can hear you!” I nearly yell in my head. “I love you! Listen to me!”

“Are you all right, baby?” Caleb asks out loud and tears form in my eyes. They still can’t hear me. I shake my head and let the tears fall as I sob in his arms.

“It’s all right; it’s a good sign.” I try to speak, but give up when I realize it’s no use. For so long I thought she’d left me. I thought she’d died. And now she came back, but left me again. She didn’t give me a chance to heal her.

“We need to talk to her about the ceremony.” Dom’s voice echoes in my head and I do my best to settle down. Caleb’s right. It’s a good thing. It’s a good sign that she came out at all. Shaking out my hands, I take in deep, steadying breaths before brushing my tears away.

“Baby, we need to talk about how you want us to claim you tonight.” My eyes open at Caleb’s words.

“What do you mean?”

“Well, there are two of us so we’re not quite sure how we’re going to handle each other. We don’t want to be rough with you or fight over you.” He runs a hand through his thick hair and looks past me at Dom before continuing. “When the moon is at its peak, we may be difficult to deal with. It brings out our wolves and our primitive side.” He glances at Dom again and opens his mouth, but closes it.

Dom places a gentle kiss on my shoulder and says, “We weren’t sure if you wanted us to take you like that for our first time.”

“Oh.” Surprised but also intrigued, a rush of arousal dampens my core. The thought of them sharing me, taking turns giving me pleasure and taking theirs from my body, makes my entire being heat with anticipation. Licking my lips, I arch my head to look at Dom over my shoulder. His eyes are drawn to my exposed neck before he meets my blue-eyed stare. “Were you thinking it would be better to …” I say and hesitate. Fuck me doesn’t sound appropriate to use when referring to me giving them my virginity. I don’t have to finish my question, though.

He swallows, holding my gaze. “We may be gentler.”

“The sooner, the better. Your heat is coming on strong now. It’s fucking killing me to wait.” My lips curl up into a smile at Caleb’s impatience. I glance between my two mates.

“How?” They share a look before Dom answers.

“We want to break your hymen together.” My eyes widen with disbelief. Both of them? Together? “No, no. Sorry.” He chuckles, looking down at the bed before looking back at me. “With our fingers.” His smile broadens at my obvious relief. “We don’t want to hurt you. And I think we can all agree that, for your first time, that may be a bit much.” The words for your first time linger in my head as I stare back at my beast of a mate. My body heats and cools at the same time as I remember him stroking his huge cock over my stomach. I lick my lips again with anticipation.

“Do you want to do it now?” My teeth sink into my lower lip. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous. “It’s going to hurt, isn’t it?”

“Only for a little bit.” Caleb gets on his knees and leans down to the crook of my neck. “We won’t leave you in pain, baby girl.”
