The Stepbrother (Red's Tavern 5) - Page 38

It was nothing like the kiss we’d had on the first night of the trip. This wasn’t some joke, like something two kids would do on a dare.

Sam clearly wanted this, too. He was as eager and willing as I was.

I pulled him in closer to me, his chest pressing up against mine. It was like a sizzle of electricity ran through me from head to toe the moment his skin touched mine. He was a man. And while I’d had a meaningless blow job or two from other guys, I’d certainly never held a man so close like this. It was intimate. I was hyper aware of my heart slamming in my chest, wondering if he could feel it, too.

And the bulk of his muscle was surprisingly addictive. At once, I felt like I wanted to cradle him close and protect him, but also knew that he could wrestle me to the ground easily if he wanted to.

I let out a little growl as I ran my fingers through his hair, tugging a little. I moved off of his lips, letting my mouth linger just above his as I breathed deep. “There. You happy now?”

He puffed out a careless little laugh, like he knew he was unraveling me, bit by bit. He pressed up closer and I felt his cock straining under his swim shorts. He was hard as hell, too. My own cock pulsed at the realization and I buried my face in the crook of his neck, groaning deeply.

“Very,” he murmured.

“Jesus Christ,” I whispered, my lips grazing over the warm skin of his neck.

Sam rocked his hips forward, pushing his cock up against my thigh again. “Sorry. Just a natural reaction,” he said. His voice was so close to my ear. I hadn’t realized how deeply I’d been craving this kind of closeness.

“We shouldn’t be doing this,” I muttered, but at the same time, I was reaching out for his hand. I grabbed it and slowly moved it up my thigh and over my cock, showing him that I was exactly as hard as he was.

“Mmh,” he moaned, resting his forehead against mine and taking a big breath. “I don’t know, it feels pretty fucking good to me,” he said.

“God, it feels incredible,” I whispered.

I dipped my head again, kissing him, suddenly desperate for more. This time there were no secrets at all, nothing to hide from as Sam’s hand squeezed against my cock while my tongue slid over his. He tasted like the sweet lime from his margarita, and I knew he could feel me throbbing—literally aching for him, against all my better judgment.

I wanted so much. Even more than this. I was drunk, but I was still dimly aware that we were in public, even though there was nobody around this corner of the roof. Anyone could have meandered over and seen us. I was usually a fairly private person, even when I wasn’t making out with a man who happened to be my stepbrother.

But then there was Sam, gently moving his other hand to the back of my head, lacing his fingers through my hair and clutching me like he wanted to have his way with me. I’d always wondered if Sam was all talk when it came to sex—he certainly talked a big game, and part of me thought he might be shy when it actually came down to it.

But now I knew.

He wasn’t shy. Not even a little bit. He was every bit as confident with his body as he said he was.

He hummed, a low, sweet sound, pulling off to give me a little smile. His eyes were half-lidded, totally drunk with lust.

“So, what, are we only allowed to kiss in pools and hot tubs?” he asked, teasing me. “Can it be any sort of water? Like, I’m down for that, if it’s the rule. But can I at least hop in the shower with you and enjoy this every morning—”

“Kiss me anywhere you want,” I said, reaching below the water and letting my fingertips explore the curves of his body, squeezing against the sides of his hips.

“You don’t mean that,” Sam whispered.

“Try me.”

I leaned in and took his bottom lip between my teeth, sucking before giving it a gentle tug.

“Fuck. You are definitely not a bad kisser,” he said, his eyelids fluttering open again a moment later.

“I know.”

I turned to look behind me. In between the hot tub and the hotel were a bunch of little private cabanas, all of them deserted by now.

“Come with me,” I said, grabbing Sam’s hand and leading him out of the tub. I’d been starting to overheat in the hot tub, and the night air was the perfect antidote, cool and fresh against my skin. We toweled off and he followed me into one of the little cabanas. Inside were two big lounge chairs, more towels, clean robes hanging at the side, and a small table. I reached for the curtains, tugging them closed. The light from the pool and the night sky came in through the gaps in the fabric, letting me see just enough of him.
