Marriage at His Convenience - Page 39

They kissed and clung to each other, and with shaking fingers Lucas unfastened the buttons down

the front of her dress, and parted the fabric exposing the near naked length of her to his view. ‘You are so beautiful, so exquisite inside and out,’ he grated, shrugging off his clothes and dispensing with her briefs in seconds. His great body arched over her, his eyes glittered down into hers. ‘And you really are all mine at last.’ Then his head swooped down, and his mouth covered hers in a kiss of pure possession before burning a red-hot trail of fire down her slender throat to her swollen breasts.

He filled up her senses as never before, she was drunk on the wonder of their declared love. Amber moaned as he found the rosy peaks and licked them with his tongue. ‘No.’ His dark eyes, brimming with love, held hers. ‘But my secretary would not dare disturb us,’ he said with all the arrogant confidence Amber recognised.

She smiled. ‘I’m taking no more chances,’ and, standing up, she continued dressing, glad to see Lucas was doing the same. ‘I can’t believe we made love in your office.’

Lucas, looking utterly gorgeous with his hair disheveled, his trousers on and his shirt hanging off his shoulders, pulled her into his arms. ‘I can, but if it perturbs you so much…’ he grinned down at her ‘…what about trying the rail we missed on the boat? Another honeymoon?’

And they did…
