Surrender Dorothy (Kinky Oz 2) - Page 12

He stepped into the night, lightning flashing dangerously close. “Emily will wake when I’m gone without remembering I was here. But you won’t forget. Call my name, and the storm will come for you. Call my name, Dorothy. When you decide to come to me, I’ll be waiting.”

“This is ridiculous,” she shouted against the onslaught. “Come back inside and leave through the front door like a normal person.”

He climbed up onto the balcony railing and a funnel of dark clouds instantly appeared around him. The storm was centered on him. She looked around wildly. Only on him.

How was that possible?

Wizard.

One more brilliant flash of lightning and he was gone along with any sign of the storm. She was soaking wet as she leaned over the balcony, searching for signs that he’d fallen, but there was no broken wizard on the pavement below. There was no trace of him.

Was it a trick or had he been telling the truth? Why was she suddenly terrified she’d never see him again?

Call my name when you’re ready.

“Dorothy? What are you doing out there with the door wide…you’re soaking wet. Wait…are you crying?”

Chapter Four

She was crazy. She knew she was crazy. Why else would she be standing on the beach at one o’clock in the morning, preparing for a spell that would call the storm and take her to Z?

It had been three days. Three days of darkened windows and restless nights. Three days of closing her eyes and seeing him, remembering how he felt against her. His kiss. Days and nights of fighting against herself, telling herself she was well rid of him, that it was good that he’d gone before he could hurt her or steal her power.

But she was hurting. It didn’t make any sense, but she’d felt his absence in the world like a gaping wound, a deep abyss of emptiness that she couldn’t logic away. She barely knew him, but she’d always known him. She’d been raised to be afraid of everything he was and everything he might be, but she had to find him.

When she did, she was going to give him hell for leaving her wanting, and for the dream she’d had last night. The one that had left her craving him like a drug.

He’d appeared before her, like he had a dozen times before, but right away she knew something was different. It felt real.

She’d stood in the middle of a field of red flowers. Poppies that were emitting a powerful scent that pushed a liquid blast of lust through her veins and between her thighs.

“When will you call the storm and come to me, Dorothy? I’ve shown you how.”

She turned to find him beside her in the field. She tried to concentrate on his words, but the sensual aroma of the flowers, the sight of him after days of absence, robbed her of coherent thought.

A part of her marveled at her actions as she knelt in the grass, hands swiftly undoing the ridiculous ties on his pants. “You might want to look into zippers, Z.”

When he didn’t respond, she looked up and gasped. Z’s expression had changed from surprised to feral. His fist curled into her hair and tugged before she could open his pants. “If you think I’ll tell you to stop, you’re crazy. I’ve been waiting too long to feel those full lips wrapped around my cock.”

Dorothy smiled. It was as if all her inhibitions had disappeared. She felt no shame, no fear, no worry about the future. She wanted to taste him more than she wanted to breathe. She spread the soft fabric of his pants and tried to wrap her fingers around his shaft.

He was so big.

Z pulled his shirt over his head with his free hand, tossing it on the ground behind him and eliciting more of that sweet, sexual scent. What kind of poppies were they?

Dorothy forgot her question at the sight of his erection and licked her lips. All she knew was that a glimmer of arousal wet the tip and she needed to taste it.

“Yes, Dorothy. Lick it, sweet. You’re just as hungry as I am.”

He tried to gently guide her mouth onto his cock, but she resisted. She wanted to tease him, to make him as crazy as he always made her. Her tongue danced on his shaft, light and provoking. Her fist loosened until he growled.

“Never tease a horny wizard.” That was the only warning she got. A flash of light lit the strangely colored sky and Dorothy blinked to find herself naked with her arms tied behind her back in the middle of the same poppy field, lying across Z’s lap with her face full of flowers.

Goddess, they smelled good. “What are they doing to me?”

“They’re intensifying your desires, easing your fears and increasing your appetite.”

“Magic,” she murmured hotly.
