Shameless (The Finn Factor 6) - Page 65

“And tonight Jake asked me if I knew someone who might want to date his father.”

Shit. “He did?”

“Since I’m your friend who sleeps on the couch, he thinks I can help,” Bellamy growled. “Don’t ask me to do that, Finn. I won’t stand by and let anyone else touch you, even to put his mind at ease.”

“That won’t happen.” Seamus ran a hand through his hair. “I’ve never done this before. Presley was the closest I came to—”

“I know.” Bellamy had come up close and slid one hand around to cup his ass through his pajama bottoms, his other hand caressing his flat stomach. “I know I’m the only one you let in the door, and I heard the stories from your family. Not to mention my reprehensible snooping before came to the States to find you. I’m starting to put it together in my mind.”

“Put what together?”

“The Seamus puzzle. The greedy man who begs for my cock and has to have his mouth covered every time he comes was practically a virgin before I seduced him. He’s never had a chance to really fuck someone himself. To know what it feels like to truly let go.”

Seamus tensed. “I had sex before you came along, asshole. I was talking about being in a relationship.”

“Four times before I came along. Maybe five. Most of them before you adopted Jake. Yeah, a true sex addict.” Bellamy’s expression dared him to prove him wrong.

“You don’t know everything about my history, Bellamy. Maybe I’m just good at keeping my sex life to myself.”

“I know about Homecoming.”

He was blushing and pissed. “Is that what they were telling you about at the bar? I’m going to kill them.”

“Why? It was inspiring.” He changed his tone until he sounded like he was telling a story around the campfire. “Our hero, Seamus Finn, goes to the dance with one of the hottest cheerleaders in school—the best friend of his brother’s date, so they could go together. He was destined to get lucky that night. The cheerleader was a well-known freak in the sheets and she’d never been with a twin before, but her luck ran out when he caught her outside with a few fellow jackasses, laughing at that nice girl from the science club.”

Seamus shook his head, trying to hold on to his irritation. “Are you narrating my life, Bellamy? Because no one else is here and I already know what happened.”

“I don’t think you do.” Bellamy slid his fingers into the waistband of his pants, knuckles brushing his stomach lightly. Teasing him. Making him hot. “Not the way other people tell it. Now let me finish. Heedless of his own reputation, our hero rejects his date in front of her friends and takes Science Club back inside for a slow dance or two, and then he drives his damsel to a romantic spot to watch the stars and…talk.”

“My date was a bitch.” Like something out of a stupid teen movie, they’d ridiculed Tyra about her dress and the fact that she’d come to the dance without a date. It was cruel and pointless bullying and Seamus couldn’t stand seeing it. He’d never been able to. So he’d left the cheerleader, whose name he couldn’t remember now, and spent the rest of the night with Tyra instead. She was cute and smart and he had a feeling she’d leave them all in the dust after graduation. He’d been right. She was happily married and working for NASA now.

“She was your first. A girl you rescued. And she made the first move too, didn’t she?”

“A friend,” Seamus corrected. “But yes, she was my first.”

“I’m assuming you were gentle and kind and gave her a beautiful memory that changed her for the rest of her life.”

Seamus rolled his eyes at his mocking tone. “I was awkward and clumsy and it went about the same way most first times go. Very quickly. Is there a point to this beyond personal embarrassment?”

“The point is you. You rescue children and victimized women. You give advice and help people open up about their childhood or face their fears. Super Seamus, always saving the day.” Bellamy tsked and his fingers tightened on his hips. “No one knows what a hot little fuck you are under that cape. How greedy you can be. I’m the only one who gets that part of you. The only one who can take care of you and give you what you need.”

Seamus licked his lips and reached for him, but Bellamy pushed him away. “What now?”

“I know about Presley and Science Club. Tell me about the other women.”

“Fuck off,” Seamus growled, unable to stop himself from following Bellamy as he moved further into the crowded basement. “I don’t want to hear about your old flames and I don’t want to talk about mine.”
