Ugly Beast (Hell's Bastards MC 1) - Page 36

“You think he planning on wiping us out?” Ugly Beast asked.

Smokey laughed. “If he doesn’t, I’d take it as a personal insult. We got to know who has our backs and who doesn’t.” He landed another ball and looked at him. “If your wife betrays us, connection or not, she’s going to have to die.”

“And?”

“I saw the way you hit Vigo. Something going on there I need to know?”

Ugly Beast burst out laughing. “You growing a pussy there?”

“I’m keeping an eye on my men. I need to know they’re solid as fuck.”

“I’m a rock, Prez. Make no doubt of that. Abriana betrays us, consider her dead and I’ll be the one to slit her throat.”

“Good man.”

Ugly Beast’s cell phone started to ring, and he saw it was Ryan at the bar they often frequented. He’d given him his cell number in case of any trouble. The Hell’s Bastards took care of their own, and Ryan was the son of one of their members who was currently doing life for murder.

“Ryan, man, what’s up?”

“Raven’s here with some brunette chick. You guys okay with that?”

“She causing any trouble?”

“Not yet but they’re getting drunk, and a couple of guys are eyeing them up. I know Raven can handle herself, but I also know she can’t back down from a fight. The other chick, she’s club property, right?”

Ugly Beast gritted his teeth.

Raven wasn’t supposed to take her out, and if they had gone out, he should have been the first to know about it.

“We’ll be right there.”

“I’ll keep them safe until you arrive.” Ryan hung up.

Ugly Beast cursed as he pocketed his cell. “Raven’s about to cause trouble at Ryan’s place. I’m heading over there.”

“She on her own?” Smokey asked.

“Nah, she took my fucking wife along with her.” He couldn’t believe Abriana had gone with the crazy ass woman, but then, what did he expect? It wasn’t like she had a backbone, was it? Raven probably didn’t give his wife the chance to argue with her.

It pissed him off, but as he straddled his bike, he was aware of his brothers getting ready to ride with him.

Raven was one of their own, and they would protect her. It certainly wouldn’t be the first time they had to go and help her out of a fight she had started. The woman didn’t know when to leave well enough alone.

One day, she’d pick a fight with the wrong kind of guys and they wouldn’t arrive in time to protect her.

Revving his engine, he took off into the night, heading toward the town where Ryan was.

Abriana wasn’t supposed to be difficult. He shouldn’t have to leave the clubhouse to go and help her ass.

With each mile he got nearer, his anger rose. He didn’t want to marry the mafia girl, nor did he want anything to do with her. She had his home, and she could fucking stay there. If she wanted money, it was hers. He didn’t understand what else she could possibly want.

Raven needed to learn her place as well. He didn’t give a flying fuck what she thought, and if she even tried to cause this bullshit again, he was going to tear her a new one. Woman or not, she was still a club member, and she was under the same instructions as the rest of them.

He arrived at the town over an hour later. He’d broken every speeding and traffic law he knew to get here.

The bar, like most nights, was busy.

He didn’t wait for his brothers. Parking his bike, he made his way inside, shoving a couple who were making out in front of his path, out of the way. Niceties were not his strong suit.

Entering the bar, he looked toward the dance floor and sure enough, Raven was there, but so was his wife.

She dressed for attention, and it pissed him off to see her like that. Short dress, hair coiled and looking like it needed to be pulled as he drove his dick inside her. Anger filled him as he caught sight of not one, two or three, but six guys near them, clearly wanting in on the action. Most of the guys were trying to get close to Raven, who wasn’t giving them the time of day.

When one of the soon-to-be dead bastards moved in, touching Abriana’s ass, he lost it.

Stepping up to the dance floor, he pulled out his knife, pressing it to the man’s throat. “If you know what’s good for you, you’ll step the fucking hell back.”

Abriana turned around, and when she caught sight of him, she gasped.

“Dude, this chick belongs to you?” he asked.

“They both belong to us.”

The boys who had followed him from the clubhouse were now on the dance floor. The town knew who they were and what they were capable of. Several people simply left, not wanting to deal with that shit.
