Tech Billionaire's Secret Baby (His Secret Baby) - Page 29

“Bonjour, mes cherries!” Sean walked into our hotel room carrying a few bags. Based on the logo, I had an inkling of what he had picked up for us.

“Is that what I think it is?”

Sean nodded, placing the bags on the table. “Only the best for the love of my life.”

I still blushed when he said things like that. We’d been together for a year, but everything still felt so brand new. It felt like I was discovering something new about him every day.

“Where’s Flora?”

“I just put her down for her nap.” I motioned towards the other room.

Sean quietly went to go check on her. He took to fatherhood immediately. We had both been a bag of nerves, but once Flora was in the world, everything just felt so natural. Lucy had predicted that very thing which only bolstered her ego. There was no telling her she was wrong.

She and my mother had been at the hospital. It was hands down the best day of my life, and life had been so sweet since Sean and I decided to be together. We were able to figure out our living situation. We hadn’t settled in Sewanee just yet – the house we were building was still under construction. However, it was hopefully going to be completed by the time we flew back.

Sean still kept his apartment in the city. We were doing a lot of traveling, wanting to do it some before Flora needed more roots. We would definitely have trips when she was older, but just not as often. Plus, I’d like to get back to the bakery sometimes. We did manage to find a great manager. Marnie had applied, but I had to tell her she was much too young. Plus, I wanted her to go out in the world for a little bit. She was already so accomplished; it was only up for her.

Sean’s work was going well too. I helped out with some of his day-to-day duties. What we had felt like a true partnership.

My love returned to the main room and joined me on the couch.

“How did she look?”

“Perfect.” He pecked me on the cheek before laying his head in my lap. I gently played with his hair as he looked up and talked to me. “We’ve had a good year, right?”

“I’d go do far as to say a perfect year.”

Sean smiled at my comment. “I know things were shaky in the beginning, and we were both super unsure about… everything, I guess, but I just….” He trailed off, looking like he was trying to find the right words. He dug into his pocket and pulled out a small ring box. “I thought I’d be able to give this grand speech, but you know I don’t have the best way with words. Basically, I wanted to know if you’d marry me.” He opened up to box to reveal the most delicate diamond ring. I was rendered speechless for more than a few moments.

“So, is that a yes?”

I realized I hadn’t said anything for like two minutes. “Oh my God! Yes! Yes, I’ll marry you!”

“Oh, thank God,” Sean sighed in relief. He picked himself up off my lap. “May I do the honors?” He motioned towards my hand. I held it out, and he slipped the ring onto my finger.

Finally getting out of the shock of the moment, I leaped onto Sean, raining kisses down on his face.

“I love you, lack of grand speeches and all,” I joked.

He laughed before kissing me back. It quickly turned more passionate, our hands running over each other’s bodies.

“We should celebrate,” I whispered into his ear.

“I know exactly what you mean.”

My future husband lifted me off the couch. I gasped in surprise, wrapping my arms around his neck. We went to our bedroom.

“Is the monitor on?”

“Lemme check.” Sean walked over to the dresser. “Yep, it’s on.” I

smiled and continued placing my lips all over his skin. Sean laid me on the bed. He stayed by the edge, looking down at me with a wicked smile on his face.

“Why don’t you stripe for me?” I asked with a smirk.

He nodded, receptive to the idea. He started by pulling his shirt over his head and throwing it to the ground. I bit my lip, looking up at his cut chest.

“Do you like what you see?”

“I always like what I see.” I got up on my knees and rested my hands on his torso. “Let me take care of the rest.”

I slowly dragged my hands down until they were at Sean’s pants. I looked into his eyes as I pushed them down. My hands brushed against his hard cock, and he winced slightly.

“Sensitive?” I cocked my eyebrow.

“You are wicked,” he smiled.

Sean placed his palm on my cheek and pressed his lips into mine, moving forward, so I was forced to move back down onto the bed. He kept going until I was lying down. Once my back was on the bed, my love moved his lips down my body.
