Corsairs: Kaspar (Corsair Brothers 2) - Page 100

A sly gleam appears in his eyes. "Not exactly." He glances around. "You see Gloom anywhere?"

"No—"

"Good." He grabs me by my hips, sets me atop the root, and flips my skirt up. The root's so tall that we're practically face-to-knee—my knee to his face—but he pushes my thighs apart, slides me forward, and plants his mouth on my pussy.

Oh. Oh god.

I whimper and my hand goes atop his head. "Are you…trying to prove that you're impulsive?"

"Yes," he says between fierce licks. "You think I can make you come before he returns?"

I squirm against his mouth. "God, I hope so."

He licks me hard, then changes tactics, his fingers pressing up against the entrance to my core. At the same time, he teases the hood of my clit with his tongue, flicking it in light, teasing motions even as he sinks two fingers deep inside me.

This is an all-out assault on my pussy and designed to make me come hard and fast, and I am absolutely not complaining. I grab his horns and hold on, whimpering and trying not to look over at Sterre as Kas pleasures me with wet sounds and quick fingers. He grabs one thigh and shoves it over his shoulder, and I lock onto his neck, riding his face as he wrings a quick, filthy orgasm out of me. "Oh…fuck. Kas. Oh fuck. Oh god. Yes!"

I tremble against his face as I come hard and fast, and he changes tactics, licking me softly and rubbing his mouth against my sensitive flesh while the climax rolls through me. "Guess I've still got it," he murmurs happily and presses one last kiss against my pussy before flipping my skirt down. "Gloom will be back any minute. Act natural."

Act…natural? After I just ground myself against his face for a quick and dirty minute? Oh sure. So natural.

KASPAR

I feel a little more like myself after pleasuring Alice. I've been stressed and worried all day long. I'm not meant to be the one shepherding two vulnerable people through a dangerous jungle. I'm the one meant to be at the front, flinging myself into danger.

I can't do that with Alice, though. I can't trust Gloom to keep her safe when he can barely keep himself together. The fool ate all the inukni worms, after all. With Alice dressed so skimpy, too, he won't even look in her direction. He's stumbled over roots and leafy plants in his efforts NOT to look at her.

Which is good, because then I don't have to kill him for looking too hard. I'm pretty sure he's legitimately who he says he is at this point—the bait the other gladiators are hunting for—but I don't trust him with Alice. I don't trust anyone to keep her safe but me. I'm trying not to think about her alone on the farm planet, because even thinking about that makes me want to punch things. One day at a time, I remind myself.

Alice is a little wobbly-legged after our quick interlude, which fills me with pride. I love that slightly dazed look on her face, the way she gazes at me all soft, as if she's thinking about the orgasm I gave her. My trou are tighter than I'd like, but I ignore it. Strangely enough, giving Alice a release helped me relax.

I even smile at Gloom when he climbs down from the tree. I must make him nervous, because he immediately looks wary. "What did you see?" I ask. "Anything?"

"Whew. That was a climb and a half. I don't want to do that again anytime soon." He jogs back over to us and then stops when Sterre growls at him, the carinoux circling in front of Alice. His gaze flicks over my female for a brief moment and then back to me. "Uh, she okay? She looks tired."

"She's fine. Focus. What did you see up there?"

"Huh? Oh." He puts his hands on his hips, thinking, and squints up at the thick canopy of trees overhead. "Yeah. There's a planet all right."

"In which direction?"

He turns and points, and it's not the direction we're going. Figures. "So we need to head in that direction?"

"Yeah. I saw the river, too. Same direction."

Alice makes a soft noise and then presses her face to my arm, and I know she's trying not to laugh. I bite back my exasperation. "Great. That's the direction we'll head, then. Let's go."

It's another full day of walking before the trees clear out abruptly, and the sound of rushing water leads us to the river itself. It's an enormous river, the water a muddy, churning shade of greenish brown that doesn't look inviting. The water races past, smacking against the rocks studded through the water at a frantic pace. A few scattered trees and a thick bevy of ferns edge the water itself, and they look as if they're close to being devoured by the rushing river.
