The Doctor Who Has No Closure (Soulless 10) - Page 84

He stilled for a while, his breathing slowly returning to normal. He stayed inside me, his dick still pretty damn hard even though he’d just dumped a heavy load inside me. After a few kisses to my neck, he held himself over me again. “Can I keep going?”

I knew he asked that question because his dick was so big it would make any woman sore for a couple days. I grabbed his ass and pulled him into me. “You better keep going…”

He held me against him, half of my body on top of his, lying in the dark.

We didn’t say much. We made love, took a break, and made love again.

It was so nice.

His fingers gently played with my hair, his arm resting on mine on top of his stomach. The sheets were bunched around our waists, and my bedroom was a few degrees warmer than it usually was—because of his smokin’ hot body. “I wish I could stay over.”

“Me too.”

“We can have a slumber party this weekend.”

“All weekend?” I squeezed him slightly, so excited at the thought of having him for several days in a row.

“Yeah. We can order in and be naked the whole time.”

“Ooh, that sounds nice.”

“And…maybe you can wear some lingerie.”

I chuckled. “Ready to fuck me, then?”

“Baby, it’s hard. You’re so fucking sexy that I want to come on your face, your tits, in your ass…all over the goddamn place.”

“I’m game.”

He turned to look at me, his eyes instantly aroused. “So, you’re literally the perfect woman, aren’t you?”

“What took you so long to figure it out?” I propped my head on my hand, looking down at him as my fingers touched his chest and stomach.

His eyes turned playful at my comment. “Because I’m a fucking dumbass. That’s why.” His hand reached up to my face, his fingertips gently stroking my cheek. “Then I look at you like this, and all I want to do is take it nice and slow…” With little effort, he was so romantic, like it was just natural to him.

I pressed my lips to his chest and kissed him, doing something physical to hide the emotion in my heart, the urge to tell him how much my heart belonged to him. All of it, actually.

His stomach suddenly released a loud growl.

I lifted my head and looked at him, suppressing my smirk.

He gave a guilty smile. “You know me. I’m always hungry.”

“I picked up some sandwiches on the way home. Wanna take a break?”

“Only if you don’t put on any clothes.”

“It’s awfully cold when I’m not right next to you.”

“Alright, you can have my shirt.”

He pulled on his boxers, and I put on his shirt before we went into the kitchen and grabbed the sandwiches from the fridge. I already knew what to order him because I knew him so well, knew exactly what we liked, so we stood in my kitchen and ate, exchanging looks, him leaning against the counter while I sat on top of one across from him.

He licked his fingers after he finished one half. “Sex and sandwiches…nice.”

“Climaxes and clubs…”

He grinned as he chewed. “Good one, baby.”

We finished eating then left the paper bag and napkins on the counter. He crossed the small kitchen and came toward me, separating my legs so he could stand between them, his hands moving to my ass so he could position me right against him, my arms around his neck. “As much as I’d like to stay here with you all night, I should head home. Got a long day tomorrow.”

“I know you do.” I pressed my forehead against his. “Even if you wanted to stay, I wouldn’t let you.” I cared about his commitments more than I cared about the one he made to me. We would never be as important as his work, and I was okay being second best. I loved him because he loved his work, and that was how it would always be, even if it lasted forever. That was the sacrifice I had to make to be with him—and I was okay with it.

He stared at my lips as he gripped my ass underneath his shirt. “I think I’ll have to fuck you before I go.” He pulled me farther over the edge before he pushed down his boxers and let his cock pop out.

I eyed his big dick as I tilted myself back, ready to let him do whatever he wanted to me on my kitchen counter. “I’m your woman, so that’s your job.”

He guided himself inside me and shoved himself deep with a thrust. “Baby, you know how seriously I take my job.”

After the dinner a couple weeks ago, Derek went MIA.

Every time I asked him to get a beer or grab some nachos, he said he was too busy.

Which wasn’t like him—because he was never busy when I asked him to do stuff. We weren’t just brothers, but friends, so we always made time to see each other. I got so concerned about it that I texted Emerson. Everything alright with Derek?
