Crazy B!tch (Biker Bitches 5) - Page 37

“If your ass snores, you’re outta here.”

Calder tried to think if any of the women he had slept with had ever complained about his snoring. He was pretty sure he didn’t.

When he tried to cuddle with her, she shrugged away from him.

“Hot thang, when I want to cuddle, I’ll tell you. When I want to fuck, I’ll wake you up. Stick to your side, and as long as you don’t snore… or fart, I might let you have another sleepover.”

“And if I do?” He tried to keep his laughter out of his voice, glad she wouldn’t be able to see the amusement on his face in the dark.

“Then we’ll just be fuck buddies,” she finished simply.

He released a relieved sigh. At least she was willing to fuck him again. Some battles with bitches, you had to take what you could get.

Calder stared down at his cell phone, seeing there were no new text messages. It was nearly quitting time, and Crazy Bitch still hadn’t responded to the text he had sent her, asking if she wanted to hang out tonight at the club.

He pulled the motorcycle he would be working on in the morning into the garage bay, seeing Stud was still working on the one he was building.

“I’m done for the day. You need anything before I leave?”

“No, I’m good.” Stud didn’t look up as he moved to the side of the bay where he was working.

“You and Sex Piston doing anything tonight?”

“Nope, Star has dance class. I’m going to the club until they’re finished. They’ll pick me up when they’re done.”

“You talked to Sex Piston today?” He tried to act unconcerned as he questioned his brother.

“No, she texted me that she wouldn’t meet me for lunch; said she and Crazy Bitch were slammed today with walk-ins.”

“Oh.”

“Why?”

“No reason.” He shrugged negligently.

“Okay. You going to the Destructors’ club or you headed home?”

“If you’re going to the club, I’ll hang out there for a few before I head home.”

“I’ll see you in an hour, then. I want to put on the carburetor before leaving.”

“You need any help?”

“No, I got it. Save me a beer.”

“I will.”

Calder left the garage, going to his bike. He rode to the club, his mind still on Crazy Bitch and why she hadn’t returned his text. They had rushed out of her apartment that morning before he had time to make definite plans about seeing her that night.

Feeling like a lovesick weenie, he almost changed his mind about going to the club and went home, but his foot didn’t brake, nor did he change direction, hoping to see her car in the parking lot when he pulled in. Disappointment filled him when he saw it wasn’t there.

Annoyed with himself, he wasn’t in a good mood when he took a seat next to Cade at the bar.

“What’s up, Calder?” Fat Louise’s husband greeted him.

“Not much,” he responded. “Ginger, give me a beer.”

The woman set the beer down with a suggestive smile, not moving away. “Can I get you something else?” She made it plain what she was offering.

“Nothing I want from you.” His voice was clipped and cold, sending the slut moving to the other side of the bar.

“I’ll have to give you a call the next time she’s bugging the piss out of me.”

Calder didn’t bother to look toward Ginger. If he wanted a piece of tail like her, he could find one who didn’t have the calculating sharpness that the fake redhead couldn’t hide.

He watched Bear go behind the counter and start to take out one of the Miller Lites in the cooler.

“How many are left?” Calder asked, stopping Bear.

“Huh?”

“How many Miller Lites are left?” he repeated.

Bear opened the cooler. “Four.”

“Put it back. I bought that case for Crazy Bitch. You want one, you know where the liquor store is. Stud buys the club Bud, Bud Light, Coors, and Coors Light. He told you all, if you want something different, you had to pay for it yourselves.”

“She never says anything when the brothers take one.” Bear doggedly gripped the beer tighter, not putting it back.

“She’s not saying shit now. I am. Put it back.” His jaw firmed as he gave Bear a threatening glance.

Bear put it back, taking a Bud Light. The biker wasn’t happy, but he had given up the beer.

Calder couldn’t care less if the large man was angry. Bear might be a brother, but Calder didn’t consider him a friend, and he had never considered a man’s size before deciding to take them on. He’d had his ass beaten many times in prison because of his reckless attitude, yet he never backed down from a fight. Hell would freeze over before he would. He might not be the swiftest motherfucker in the world, nor the richest, but what he did have was a pair of balls.
