written anything, like a novel or a longer work. I’m not much

of a reader when it doesn’t have anything to do with some sort

of science, but I’d like to read her work. I’m sure it would be

great. That observation is solely based on the stellar profile she

wrote for me.

She made me feel like she’s known me for years. There

were lines in there that summed up so much about me that I

couldn’t really ever even put into words for myself. It’s like

she took a machine and stared straight into the depths of my

brain, my heart, and my soul and churned it out on paper in a

way that is both incredibly intimate, but not unbearably so for

me or anyone else to read.

Adley is stunning. She’s a very attractive girl, but I just

bet what she has going on inside, in her brain and her heart

(yes, I’m a scientist, but I still like to use the word heart to

sum up things like compassion, kindness and empathy because

it’s easier than going into complicated technical terms about

parts of the brain, neuron function, synapses…) are just as

beautiful.

Honestly, I know why I can’t stop thinking about her,

but I can’t allow myself to go there. My parents are very

traditional. I’d almost call them old fashioned, but I think

that’s too token. Everyone has their years of experimentation,

but I don’t think they ever did that. My mom married my dad

when she was nineteen. She came from old money. He was in

the tire business even back then. They had two children. My

brother and I. My mom was a homemaker. She’s always

supported my dad and the company however she can, even if

that means doing things here and there from home. She’s very

good at marketing and is extremely organized. I can think of
