An Assassin's Oath - Page 43

“Nothing you haven’t seen before…right?”

I press my molars together in agitation. “I don’t like other people seeing too much of what’s mine, and you’re showing way too much, sweetheart.”

“I am not yours!” She hisses hotly. “You will never own me. Ever.”

I smirk at her. “That’s where you’re wrong. You are mine. You’re my wife, and if you’re carrying my last name, you will do and act as I tell you. Is that clear?”

“Go to hell.”

“Take it off, Ezra. You’re not leaving this house wearing that.”

“Or what, Damien? Will you tie me to your bed and torture me some more?” She drawls, raising her brow in a defying manner, her eyes alight with disobedience. “Or will you take me over your knee and spank me like a naughty girl?”

She’s goading me. Don’t bite, Damien. “If a good spanking is what you’re after, I’ll gladly comply, baby. I’ll have you on all fours, screaming for mercy so fast your head will spin,” I trail my fingers down the side of exposed skin just under her breast. She stares at me with those wide blue eyes. “I’ll spank you so good you’ll be feeling the burn for a week straight. You’ll remember what it felt like to defy me with every movement.” I whisper grimly, and she swallows hard.

I have the sudden urge to run my tongue up her throat, but I push it away swiftly. “Do you want to provoke me?” I slide the pocketknife out of my back pocket, snap it open in front of her eyes, and she gasps, a panicked look on her face. I run the cold steel blade up her stomach, and her eyes close, her breath quickens. I can practically hear her heart racing. I cut the top, and it falls off her body, leaving her top-half naked. Her eyes flicker open, and she looks down at her bare breasts then up at me.

“You may as well go out like this. That scrap of material you had on wasn’t doing a better job covering much, I assure you.” I state firmly, and she stares up at me furiously. “Change.”

“You need serious psychological help. I hope you know that.” Ezra mutters, shoving me away from her before she walks toward the bedroom and looks through the bag of clothes. After pulling on a black vest top, she grabs her cell phone and stalks off toward the front door.

“Why is that? Because I don’t want other men leering at my wife?” Ezra sighs, shaking her head; she walks out when I hold the door open for her.

“Jesus, could you be anymore backward? It’s the year twenty-twenty; cavemen have evolved more than you.” I follow her down the corridor and smirk.

“I’m an incredibly proud man, and I protect what’s mine,” I tell her as we wait for the elevator, and she looks at me dubiously and snorts, crossing her arms over her chest while she stares at the number on the top of the elevator.

“No, you’re an overly possessive and sadistic asshole. You get a thrill out of treating women like they are nothing but an object to you. You enjoy inflicting pain on others. That’s a problem, Damien, whether you want to admit it to yourself or not.” I follow her into the elevator, and she keeps her eyes cast down the entire time.

“That’s real rich coming from you.” I say, watching her intently, “I didn’t hear you complaining about either of those things when I was making you scream with pleasure. If I’m a sadist, Ezra, that makes you’re a masochist because you love every second of being dominated. You get off on it. At least I know what I am, and I don’t pretend to be something I’m not. I don’t hide behind my fears.” Her fiery gaze meets mine, and she straightens from her leaning position and regards me irately.

“You don’t know a goddamn thing about me, Damien.”

I raise my brows smugly and smirk, which only infuriates her more. “I know more about you than you know about yourself, sweetheart. I play your body like a fiddle, and you succumb to my every command willfully.” I take a step closer to her, and she narrows her beautiful blue eyes at me. “Would you like me to prove that to you right here in this elevator?”

“Don’t touch me, Damien.” She presses herself back against the wall and holds her hand out to keep me away. “I swear to God I will scream bloody murder if you lay a finger on me.” I grin and grab her wrist, yanking her to me and twist her arm behind her back.

“Good.” My eyes rake over her face slowly. “I love it when you scream.” Ezra squirms and lifts her right arm to slap me, but I grab hold of it and pin it back with her other and squeeze tight until I hear her hiss.

I walk her back and press her against the wall. I push her legs apart with my knee, “I bet I can make you come before we get to the ground floor.” Her eyes go wide, and before she could protest, my fingers are on her clit. Ezra gasps and quivers, she squirms in my hold until I slide my fingers inside her with a hard thrust, and she whimpers.

Her hips buck instinctively and rock against my hand, and I continue to rub my thumb against her clit. I thrust my fingers harder and deeper inside her already wet pussy. “Always’s so wet for me, baby,” I whisper, brushing my lips over hers teasingly, and she moans; her breath hastens a little more with every thrust and twist of my fingers. I feel her walls clamp down and pulse on my fingers as she nears her orgasm. “There it is. You’re going to come for me, aren’t you, petty girl?” Her body convulses as I rub her g-spot; she screams when her orgasm rips through her at lightning speed. “Uhhhnnn!”

I continue to massage her clit, and she trembles, panting breathlessly while her body comes down from her climax. I slide my fingers out of her pussy and step away just as the elevator dings. I look back at her, run my tongue over my finger, and smirk smugly before I walk out of the elevator, sliding my shades on. Ezra yanks her skirt down and follows me out, muttering profanities under her breath.

I halt as I round the corner when I see a line of paparazzi outside the main entrance. I grab her arm and drag her away before they see us. “Ow, what the hell, Damien?”

“Your paparazzi friends are outside,” I tell her, my eyes scan the lobby.

Ezra frowns. Her eyes follow my gaze, and she sighs.

“Brilliant. Now what?”

“We give them what they want.” She looks up at me inquisitively. “Time to put your acting skills to the test, Princess. Remember, we are a normal, married couple in love. If we give them any indication that this marriage isn’t real, they won’t stop coming after us, and it will make it impossible for me to protect you.” Ezra runs her fingers through her hair and huffs. “Ready to face the world, wife?”

“I really despise you.” She utters, plastering a smile on her face as we walk toward the entrance. I wrap my arm around her shoulder, and she slides her arm around my waist.

“Is that why your panties are so damp for me, baby? Because you just love to hate me?” I whisper hoarsely into her ear as we walk out of the building to the flashes, clicking of shutters, and everyone shouting questions from all directions. Ezra’s smile doesn’t falter as she faces the herd of people in front of us.
