"In the spirit of full disclosure, I wanted to," he admits, dragging the loofah up and down my arms. "But I knew putting cameras up at all crossed a line. I just…couldn't fucking stop myself. Knowing where you were was the only way I managed to get any work done. Otherwise, I just worried constantly. I have pictures of you too. From your social media. From Ainsley. My phone is full of them."
"Um, when did you put up the cameras?"
"Six months ago. You took off to Paris on the spur of the moment, and Travis missed you leaving. I had to ask Ainsley where you were and then wait for Van to track you down. I don't think I drew a breath until he found you tucked up in your hotel." His eyes meet mine. "I shouldn't have done it, but I don't regret it."
"I used to sit outside your bedroom door at night," I blurt out.
"I know."
"I wasn't trying to be creepy," I rush to say. "I just…I knew you had nightmares and I didn't want you to be alone. Once you settled down for the night, I would go back to my room."
"This is your room," he says, narrowing his eyes on me, being all bossy again. "You're sleeping in here with me from now on. No more of this guest room bullshit."
"Do I get a say?"
"Depends on what you want to say. If it's yes, you can say it all you want."
"Then yes," I whisper, smiling like a crazy person.
He grins at me and then kisses me again.
"You know this doesn't mean you're the boss of me, right?" I ask once he gets back to work on washing me up.
"Baby girl," he says, chuckling, "Your sexy little attitude keeps my dick hard. Fight me all you want to fight me. But just remember one thing."
"What?"
"Daddy knows exactly how to calm you down again," he growls, dropping the loofah and plunging his hand into the water between my legs. "And he doesn't play fair."
"Daddy," I moan.
His wicked laugh sends my body up in flames.
Lucky for me…he knows exactly how to put them out again.
