I is for Ian - Page 23

My fingers moved faster and glided down so they could gather up my silky fluids and move faster and smoother. It only made the feeling stronger, and I parted my legs to find more of it. Standing like that wasn’t enough and my legs were getting shaky, so I lowered myself down to the floor of the shower and lay on my back.

Pulling my legs up, I let my knees fall open and my thighs part. The exposure felt vulnerable and blatant, but also incredibly erotic. My arousal spiked even more, and I adjusted my hips so the stream of water fell perfectly onto my open, waiting center. Every droplet that touched me brought me closer. They made me tremble as they brought to life the feelings of the dream and Ian masterfully manipulating my body.

In the dream, I took off his pants so he was as bare as I was and reached forward to take his thick cock in my hand. Hard and engorged, it made my mouth water and my stomach clench. I ran my hand down it a few times, then picked up a steady rhythm. His head fell back and he groaned, bringing me right to the brink of climax.

Ian turned me around so my hands pressed against the wall, and I felt his erection slide between my thighs to tease me.

I moaned and turned over in the shower, arching my back to give the water access while reaching around to continue twirling my clit with my fingertips. I was getting so close my body was shaking, and I didn’t bother holding back the whimpers and groans pouring out of me. In my dream, Ian sank into me, and I plunged my fingers deep into my body to create the feeling.

On my knees with my fingers pumping in and out of me, I used the other hand to rub my clit. It only took seconds before the pressure built up to an unbearable peak, then shattered into a cascade of spasms and shuddering waves of pleasure.

The intensity of the orgasm left me sagging on the shower floor, trying to draw in steady breaths as my body gradually came back down. I lay there in the water for a long time, just enjoying the tingling contentment.

Finally, I knew I had to get up and get to the hospital. Shaking the thoughts of Ian out of my mind, I rinsed off and got out of my warm, blissful sanctuary. I had no interest in going out of the house into the cold night with my hair still wet, so I took the time to blow-dry it, then twisted it up onto my head to get it out of the way for work.

The finishing touch to my preparations for returning to the hospital was shoving some quick snacks and easy food into another bag so I would be ready in case my stay stretched out. I put on my heaviest coat, yanked a thick beanie down over my head, laced up my boots, added gloves and a scarf, then took a second to think through everything to make sure I was really ready to go.

All opportunities for stalling used up, I grabbed my keys and headed out into the night to return to work.

IAN

Heading back to the hotel felt like a reverse victory parade.

I was a defeated man, and it only got worse when I tried to help. Most of the crew had gotten out of there with their personal stuff and had battened down the hatches of everything that was the company’s. I checked with the heads of each of the crew assignments, and they all signed off that everything was done before they headed out.

Then I checked with the hospital staff, asking if they needed help evacuating people from the hospital. It would be a cold ride, but I could take several people in the bed of my truck along with two or three in the cab if they needed to. In an emergency like this, I thought that might be needed.

Unfortunately, there was some protocol about only hospital staff being allowed to transport patients, and while my offer was appreciated, it was unnecessary. That I should just get on back to the hotel to wait out the storm.

The hotel itself was already prepared for the storm. An area under an awning by the entrance to the lobby had multiple generators sitting in it, and I could hear the main one already being run in preparation. At least I would be warm and have electricity, so that was a plus. If I could get past how disappointed and professionally embarrassed I was, I could enjoy a few days of cozy snowed-in relaxation as long as there was no damage other than snowfall.

I knew myself better than that, though. I knew as soon as the storm actually stopped, I would be out there with a shovel and whatever equipment needed that I had on my truck, ready to dig people’s cars out and help clear paths to downed power lines. It was what I always did back home. At least then, I would feel like I was useful.
