Amanda thanked Anderson for his time and ended the call. She shook her head at Trent. “No go. We need more. And I suppose he has a point. We don’t know for certain that Eve Kelley’s killer even tailed her here.” She flailed a hand toward the building.
Trent didn’t say anything for a few moments. “That’s fine. We have more avenues to explore.”
“I’m all ears.”
“We focus on who would want Alicia Gordon and Eve Kelley dead and have access to pentobarbital. We’ve never paid Tony and Claudia’s daughter, Bethany, a visit. It’s a place to start,” he added as if an afterthought, but she had a feeling he’d given it a lot of thought.
“Yes, let’s do it.” With Eve Kelley’s murder, speaking with Bethany had fallen down the priority list. It couldn’t be postponed any longer.
