Dom - Silver Saints MC - Page 9

Hack had glanced at the paper and begun typing before I even finished speaking. Barely a minute later he hissed, “Fuck. This is bad.”

I stepped close and looked at the screen he was staring at, then let out a string of expletives before I punched a hole in the wall.

“Damn, Hulk,” Hack grunted. “Go ruin your own room. And don’t think Link is gonna approve paying for that.”

I didn’t give a fuck about any of that. I was consumed with rage over the discovery that the murdering bastard’s father was a fucking lieutenant supervising the detective squad. No wonder the little shit had never been charged for any of the suspected crimes he’d been linked to. Finding and killing the kid was no longer the simple option.

I wasn’t sure how long I’d slept, but it had to have been quite a while. Light was streaming between the slats of the blinds covering the window, and I felt more rested than I had in ages. Once my belly was full, it had been impossible to keep my eyes open. I was cuddled under the blanket, which meant Dom must’ve tucked me in after I conked out. For a brawny biker, he was awfully sweet—at least to me.

My lips curved up in a small grin as I rolled over and saw the indentation in the pillow next to my head. I must have been exhausted if I hadn’t woken up when Dom slipped into bed with me. I’d apparently missed out on having any memories from the first time I spent the night with a man.

A super-hot guy who was naked in the shower if the sounds coming from the bathroom were any indication. My imagination went wild, picturing the water pounding against his broad chest and running down his muscular thighs. I flipped back over to my other side and noticed the door was cracked open a few inches.

I shifted up onto an elbow and craned my neck to peer through the gap. The window was foggy at the edges, and no matter which way I turned my head, I couldn’t see into the shower. Tossing the blanket off my body, I got on my knees and scooted to the edge of the mattress. Pressing my palms into the soft surface on either side of my body, I leaned forward until I could see past the toilet. I craned my neck just a little farther and suddenly lost my balance. I toppled to the floor with a yelp, then slapped my hand over my mouth. When nothing happened, I sighed in relief and rolled over onto all fours. I knew I should get up and walk away, but I was still so curious. I crawled forward a few inches and peeked through the crack in the door. Almost as though Dom knew what I was doing, the water turned off. I jerked back a little and scrambled back onto the bed but returned my gaze to the bathroom and froze in place when I heard the shower door slide open. I knew he could catch me trying to sneak a glimpse of his naked body any minute, but I didn’t move. In my mind, the benefit outweighed the risk. But that didn’t stop my heart from feeling as though it would burst through my chest.

My clit throbbed in sync with each beat, and I was acutely aware that the only clothes I was wearing were the T-shirt and boxers Dom had given me yesterday. The soft cotton material covering my core grew damp as he moved in front of the sink with a towel wrapped around his waist. My gaze was glued on the rounded globes of his butt until he leaned closer to the mirror. My head jerked up, and my eyes widened when they met his in the glass. His lips curved up in a satisfied smirk, one that had me suspecting that the cracked door had been more about baiting me than keeping the condensation in the bathroom to a minimum.

“Careful, little doll,” he warned, turning around and leaning back against the countertop. “If you look long enough, you’re going to get more than an eyeful.”

My gaze slowly descended from his sexy face, to his muscular chest that had a *gulp* piercing on one of his nipples, his hard abs and landed on where the towel was now tented.. “Yeah, it seems like it.”

His smile widened as he stalked toward me. “Feeling a little feisty after all that sleep?”

I sat back on my heels and bit my bottom lip, letting my gaze slowly wander back up to his face before I released it. “Yeah, I guess you could say that.”

“Good.” He slid his hands around my rib cage and pulled until I was kneeling all the way up. Then he bent low, his lips a mere inch from mine. “Because that means you’re ready for what I’ve been wanting to do since the moment I laid eyes on you in the bar.”
