I swallow over the lump in my throat, then kiss Dustin’s chubby cheek.
“I love you both, too,” I whisper. Then I laugh, dropping my head to his chest. “Who would have thought being stood up and stumbling into you would turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to me?”
