Loving Summer - Page 14

“You like this, don’t you?”

“I might,” I say out of breath.

“You definitely do, baby. Do you need me to take care of this?” he asks, running his fingers through my folds. I moan when he brings his fingers to his mouth.

“No,” I lie.

“No?” he questions. There goes that sexy eyebrow again. Can eyebrows even be sexy? I wouldn’t have thought so, but his are.

“Kiss me,” I demand, when he does so, I rear up and roll him onto his back so that I am straddling his waist. His hard cock digs into my belly, so rising up on my knees, I slide my pussy down his length.

“Ride me. Use my dick, get that pretty pussy off,” He grunts.

And fuck if I don’t. I rotate my hips, giving it my all. It’s not long before we are coming together. I squeeze my inner muscles causing him to grip my hips with such force that I know there will be bruises there.

I lean down and place kisses on his chest.

“What’s your tattoo mean?” I ask. I am pretty sure I get the cross, but the drama masks are throwing me for a loop. I’ve always wanted one, but I haven’t done it yet. I don’t know what I would get done. What is going to mean as much to me in fifty years as it does now?

“It’s really a mixture of things. The cross represents my faith. The rays of light represent how things are beyond our control, fate. The masks represent that good and bad go hand in hand. You can’t have one without the other.” He’s impressive, really.

“Wow,” I manage to say. We don’t say anything else. Eventually, I yawn, and he shifts us, so I am laying on my pillow. He reaches over and turns the bedside lamp off.

“I love you,” I say before closing my eyes.

“I love you more,” he says.

“Not possible,” I say, drifting off.

I think I hear him say that I shouldn’t count on that, but I am not sure.

The next morning we get ready and drive to the Beaufort County Courthouse and make our way to the clerk’s office. We learn that it’s pretty straightforward to obtain a marriage license, so we decide to go ahead and fill out the paperwork. We can come back in twenty-four hours to pick it up. I try to hide my excitement, but I am unsuccessful with that.

Back in the car, I buckle up while he walks around to the driver’s side.

“Are you sure you are okay getting married this week. Do you want a big wedding?”

“I am sure. I know just what I want, and it can be put together quickly. Can your parents get here that quickly?”

“Let’s see,” he says using the buttons on the steering wheel to make a call through the Bluetooth in the car.

“Hello,” a thick New York accented man answers.

“Hey, Pops.”

“Drake. Son, how’s the beach?”

“My life isn’t a beach, Pop,” he says chuckling. “I have some news. Where’s Ma?”

“She is at the hairdresser’s, but she’ll be home in a few minutes. Can this wait?”

“I may as well tell you first. I am getting married on Saturday. Will, you guys, come?”

“Married? Already? To the girl, you told your mother about?”

“Yes. Her name is Summer Jones. She’s here with me.”

“Hello,” I call out cheerily.

“Well, hello. This is a surprise. A surprise, indeed.” A good one, I hope. “Of course it is,” he says, and I realize I said that out loud. Shit.

Through the phone, I hear a door slam and a voice shouting, “Carmine.” I can’t help smiling. “In here, Sara.”

“You on the phone,” Sara asks.

“Yes. Your son has news.”

“Hi, Ma.”

“What’s the news?”

“I’m getting married. On Saturday.”

“What?” she screeches. “To who?”

“Hi. I’m Summer,” I say.

“Summer, Summer?” she questions.

“Yep. That’s me.”

“Well, shit, this is good news. Drake must have talked about you for weeks.”

“Has he?” I ask, laughing.

“Yes. It was Summer, this. Summer that. We will definitely be there. What time Saturday?”

“Eleven-thirty. It’s an outside ceremony,” I say, revealing just a small bit of what I have in mind.

We finish a pleasant conversation, and now I can’t wait to meet them. They were so warm and welcoming, the way I always pictured parents would be.

Today is Wednesday. Not a lot of time to plan, but not impossible. I don’t need much for this. I want to get married on the beach with just a few people. Barefoot with a short white dress. It can be so pretty, and it’s what I’ve always wanted.

Tori and I have a lot of planning to do. I need to call her and get her on board.

Today is finally here, the day I get to tie Summer to me in all ways. What’s even more exciting is knowing my child is likely growing in her belly. She wants this, us, our family, our forever, as much as I do. I’m going to give her everything her heart desires and then some. I’m never going to stop pampering her. She deserves to have all my love and anything else I can give her.
