Second True Love - Page 141

“When I first walked into Keith’s house, with a bag from Tiki’s coincidentally—” he cocks his head toward the dinner, “—and rented his loft, I’d hoped my sister would have little fun and too many troubles before she’d return back home.” Everyone smiles when he shakes his head. “But once again Clem took everyone by surprise. Her time here was filled with experiences, some so harrowing that it gives me chills.”

A worried look crosses his face. When Kristy lightly pats his arm, he smiles and starts again.

“But Clem worked through it. She established herself in a world we knew nothing of. She found a life partner who I know will make her very happy.” He nips over to me. “I’m sorry, Clem, for ever doubting your dreams.”

“Are you trying to make me cry?” I rise from my seat and hug my brother. I try hard to stay cool, but some insistent tears roll down my cheeks regardless.

“Can we please eat now?” Gavin groans and I laugh, blinking my wet lashes.

Keith comes out of our en suite wearing his loose-hanging sweatpants, sans T-shirt. Watching his muscles flex as he goes through his nightly routine, I get all hot and mushy inside.

My fiancé is so hot!

I must have made some sound as his gaze shoots from where he’s checking the safety on his gun back at me.

“You look like you want something. What is it?” He tucks the gun in the waistband of his pants and prowls toward me.

I’m reminded of my first night in their house. So much has changed between us since then.

Keith’s steps halt by the bed and he looks down at me. “Your expression changed again. What’s going on in that head of yours?” He places the gun on the nightstand, giving me a view of his back and making me crazy all over again.

“That’s what you do to me. You make me vibrate like a guitar string.”

He smirks, perching beside me. “I like you vibrating.” His lips are only a breath away from my face. His hands caress my thighs under the cotton shorts as he nuzzles my neck. “It was a nice evening.” His words are muffled against my skin. His breath giving me shivers, but I don’t let him go easy.

“What did you say?” I grab his head between my hands and try to push him away.

Argh! He’s too strong.

When I don’t let go, he thankfully pulls back and looks me in the eye with a hint of mischief. I never thought I would see this expression on Keith’s face. “You heard me.”

“I want you to admit looking me in the eye that you enjoyed the evening.”

The smile that pulls on his lips tugs my heart. “You were right, Clementine. As always. Happy?”

“Very much. Thank you.” I act smug, but inside I’m ecstatic.

“Can we go back to making you vibrate? Tonight, I’m in the mood for fast like a real-life bunny, not your pink latex one.”

He doesn’t even give me a chance to fully realize that somehow, he has found my lone, small pink vibrator, as he is already tugging my T-shirt over my head.

I take off my shorts and panties in one go while Keith gets out of his sweatpants. I push down his boxers with my feet when he brings his fingers to my sex, checking if I’m ready.

I’m so ready.

I’ve been ready since he walked out of the bathroom. My legs wrap around his waist and he’s inside me in one long thrust.

He pumps into me, his breath hot and heavy against my face, my neck. Within minutes, I’m vibrating, which is soon followed by him pulsing and releasing inside me.

“You weren’t lying about going fast.” I fall back on my pillow and my words come out in heavy pants.

He chuckles and falls next to me.

My head rests over his racing heart. “Are you nervous about next week?”

He places the pad of his finger under my chin, forcing me to look up. “I’m ready to start our life together. I have no fears.” His fingers move up from my chin as he caresses my face. He rests his head back on the pillow and stares up at the ceiling. “Last few weeks have been kind of…liberating.”
