Paradise Found - Page 106

“Men like him think they deserve the world and don’t care who they hurt to achieve it. I think your brother was the second Mr. King at the club,” I explain to him.

“You think so? I didn’t think Nate would accept him after what he did to me,” Alistair adds.

“Maybe he doesn’t know. Mr. Lewis isn’t as hands-on as he used to be.”

“What a fucker. I detest the asshole,” Alistair says. “Speaking about the wedding, what are the chances of you being my date?” Those hazel eyes look up at me, and I can see worry swirling beneath his golden flecks. This man deserves to have someone in his corner at that wedding because no one else is going to stand up for him.

“I’m all in,” I tell him.

Alistair stares at me in disbelief.

“I’m done with The Paradise Club. I’m ready to start my new life in London with you,” I tell him honestly, and as soon as the words are out there, I know in my heart of hearts it’s the right decision. I’ve never been surer in my life.

“You are?” he asks, unsure if he believes what I’m saying.

“Yep. I’m yours, Alistair King, if you’ll have me.”

“You areall mine.” He growls as he reaches over and pulls me into his lap. “All … fucking … mine,” he says as his lips meet mine.
