“It was,” she agrees, looking down at me.
Reaching out, I cup her face. She is so fucking gorgeous my chest aches just looking at her.
“Be my date for the wedding?” The words spill out of my mouth before I can stop them, let alone think about what they mean.
Eloise stills. “You want me to be your date?” she questions me.
“Yes.”
“Are you sure?” Elle asks as a frown forms on her face.
“My dick is still inside you. It would be a shit thing to do if I wasn’t serious, don’t you think?”
She smiles. “Would you be offended if I say, can I think about it?”
Not going to lie, her answer slightly deflates my ego.
“Hey,” she says, gripping my chin to gain my attention. “A lot has happened in the past forty-eight hours. I’ve finally found you again. Lauren and I have gone into business together. I don’t know when I’m allowed to leave the island. But what I do know is I’m ready to go back to London. I just don’t know when it will be.”
That’s not a no, then.
“The wedding is in three weeks,” I tell her.
“Guess I better sort out my shit then,” she says, leaning down and kissing me.
