ALISTAIR

“Oh, wow!” Eloise’s eyes widen as she sees the multimillion-pound yacht I have hired for the day. Thankfully, thanks to my boat license, we don’t need anyone on the boat with us.

“Mr. King, the staff has filled the larder and the fridges with enough food for the day. The bar is also stocked. Hope you both have a great day,” the concierge at the marina explains.

“Thanks, Doug,” Eloise says, and the guy beams brightly at her.

I don’t like it and throw daggers his way. He eventually pulls his attention away from my girl and realizes I’m staring at him.

“Right, well, let me take you to your boat,” Doug states quickly and heads out of the marina office.

Elle shakes her head but is smiling, so I know all is okay. We follow Doug along the wooden walkway to where a line of yachts is bobbing in the ocean. He stops outside berth fourteen and indicates. He then proceeds to give me a rundown on the yacht, and I listen politely even though I have the same one at my place in Greece. Once he’s finished his rambling, he gives Elle one last look before disappearing.

“He wants you,” I tell her as she takes a seat.

“Who, Doug?” She frowns.

“Yeah, he can’t keep his eyes off you.”

“He used to hook up with Sierra. That’s probably why. He came to our villa all the time. Are you jealous?” She chuckles.

“No,” I say, shaking my head.

Of course, I’m fucking jealous.

The next thing I know, Elle is jumping into my arms and wrapping her legs around my waist, and I fall back against the daybed.

“It makes me hot seeing you jealous,” she whispers in my ear as she starts to grind herself against my crotch. We haven’t even left the marina yet, and I’m seconds away from fucking her right here.

“I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I don’t have time to fuck you just yet. Even though I want to … to make sure everyone at the fucking marina knows you’re mine, Iwouldrather be somewhere else with you than here.”

“Righto, Captain, let’s set sail,” she says, giggling.

“You’ll be bouncing on my buoy in no time,” I tell her.

“That soundssooowrong.” She squeals as she jumps off me.

“It does, doesn’t it? I’ll work on better nautical puns as I get us underway.”

It takes about ten minutes to reverse out of the berth and putter away from the marina. I would love to put the sails up, but as there are only the two of us, and I don’t think Elle is a sailor, it’s going to be too hard to steer and pull the sails, so we will motor along the coast. It’s a beautiful day out on the water, nothing but the turquoise ocean meeting the blue horizon with a smattering of wispy white clouds dancing across the sky.

Elle has stripped down to a red bikini, and I’m finding it hard to keep my eyes off her as I steer us around the island. The concierge told me there is a private island off the southern side of Paradise Island where day-trippers can head out to. So, I’m following the course to that area.

It takes us another thirty minutes, but we eventually arrive. I drop anchor and join Elle on the daybed where she has been lying.

“Watching you steer this yacht is the sexiest thing I’ve ever seen,” Elle tells me as she reaches out and pulls me to her. Of course, I go willingly.

“Was it now?” I say.

Note to self, take her to Greece and show her more.

She nods while biting her bottom lip. “Yep, it’s like when men parallel park …”That’s sexy?“You put your arm around the passenger seat and then do your zippy reverse thing. It’s hot.”

Another note to self, take her in my car and spend the day parallel parking. Who the hell needs oysters?

“Never heard that before.”
